Waldorf Astoria Panama

The hospitality, the cleanliness, the ambiance, the food, and the friendly staff were everything! I enjoyed my stay so much. I absolutely love Waldorf Astoria and will be recommending people to stay here when visiting Panama. I want to give a shout out to my waiter, William Smith, for going above and beyond for my boyfriend and I every single breakfast sitting. For my birthday, William made my morning so special by bringing me a slice of cake, and singing me happy birthday. Thank you so much for everything!

This was a great experience. My husband and I are looking for a place to retire, so we wanted to check out Panama. This hotel was great. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were just like mine at home. This was the best sleep I've had at a hotel ever. Breakfast was great and William was the best server. You will not regret staying at this property

I had the best experience with Nicolas Rojas and Ernesto Botello, not only they were friendly but their recommendations were on point. I had one of the best negroni and it was great. I arrived on May 2nd and the vibe is all that I needed. More people like these two makes one wants to come here at the waldorf and in Panama.

The morning staff from the dinning room was excellent especially William Smith and Joseph their hospitality made us feel welcomed. William always knew our preferences, made us feel as valued customers, was attentive to our needs and went above beyond expectations. I could tell he was not scripting and he was very genuine.

Customer service was excellent. We booked two rooms at the hotel for a five day stay. Everyday our rooms were clean and left in great condition. Shoutout to Beatrice who cleaned our rooms and decorated it nicely. We had one mishap at dinner, however it was addressed quickly and corrected. Although with the hiccup the staff was still wonderful. The service at this hotel was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

During our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Panama City (April 27–May 1, 2026), we looked forward to breakfast at Matiz every single morning, largely thanks to the incredible service provided by William Smith.
William turned our breakfast brunch into a true "extraordinary dining achievement." His energy was the perfect start to our day—attentive, refined, and genuinely welcoming. He remembered our preferences from day one and ensured that every detail, from the coffee to the main courses, was flawless. It is rare to find someone who balances high-end professionalism with such a warm, personable touch so early in the morning.

We have enjoyed our stay at the Waldorf Astoria! The hotel is beautiful, clean and the junior suite quite roomy and comfortable. The service, however, has been exceptional! From the front desk staff to the porters to the dining staff, our service has gone above and beyond expectations!

We have had excellent service at breakfast. Nicolas Rojas took care of everything and ensure we had topnotch service and a wonderful eating experience.

To be honest, the hotel didnot meet our expectations. Waldorf Astoria name has been synonymous with 5 star quality and luxury. The hotel was nice but not a 5 star property like other hotels we have stayed in. The room was fine but hotel itself ok and some issues with service. Breakfast buffet is good but not 5 star by any means.
Server at breakfast was Nicolas Ropa and he was outstanding. Food and beverage manager accommodated us as best she could after hotel cancelled our dinner reservation hours before scheduled.
