Waldorf Astoria Panama

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at the Waldorf Astoria Panama, and we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the outstanding level of service. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to fulfill our wishes and ensure that we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. They offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is elegant, welcoming, and perfectly suited for both families and business travelers.

A special highlight for our children was the pool area. They absolutely loved spending time there, and it became one of their favorite parts of the trip. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the facilities were always clean and well cared for.

We would particularly like to recognize William Smith, whose friendliness, attentiveness, and exceptional service truly stood out. He consistently anticipated our needs, greeted us with a warm smile, and made every dining experience a pleasure. His dedication to guest satisfaction is exemplary.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Oliver Howell. Even before our arrival, he took the time to answer our questions promptly and professionally. Throughout our stay, he remained genuinely interested in our well-being and was always available to assist with recommendations, arrangements, and any requests we had. His hospitality made us feel valued and well cared for from beginning to end.

The Waldorf is always a great experience. The breakfast buffet is first class with excellent food and selection. The wait staff is always friendly as exemplified by Camilo, William and the hostess Dailin. They always greeted us with big smiles and took the time to remember our names. Cannot imagine we would ever stay anywhere else during our regular visits to Panama.

We had a good time at the hotel. Very easy access to all the key spots around Panama city. Rooms were a little cold but that seems to be the standard in Panama. Dailin and William Smith were a gem and made all of our dining experiences at Matiz special. They show great care and passion for their work and make guest feel very welcome.

Panamá is an amazing vacation destination. The people are warm and friendly and the service everywhere is excellent. I specifically want to point out William Smith for his openness, kindness, and attention to detail with everything. He is a great asset to the entire experience.

Our experience at Waldorf Astoria was FANTASTIC! From the minute we arrived, the welcoming from the ENTIRE STAFF was warm and amazing. The Jr Suite we were upgraded to was super nice and clean every single day. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every day (5 days) and from the time we were greeted by the hostess and all the wait staff were super friendly and helpful. The beautiful hostess remembered us by name every morning. The location, amenities and cleanliness were perfect. We were able to for walk to restaurants and nearby grocery or snacks. The atmosphere in the lobby was sophisticated, warm and elegant. Noise levels were never, ever an issue. I can’t wait to come back for another stay. It’s worth the value 1000 times over! Thank you!

Great atmosphere, even better service!

Our stay was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The hotel was beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and in the perfect location. Every detail made the experience feel relaxing and luxurious.

What truly made this stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding service from William, Dailin, and Diana. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit. William was professional, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Dailin’s kindness and attention to detail made such a lasting impression, and Diana was equally amazing with her warm hospitality and genuine care for guests.

It’s rare to find a hotel where the staff makes you feel this valued and appreciated. Because of William, Dailin, and Diana, we will absolutely be returning and recommending this hotel to friends and family. Thank you all for making our trip so memorable!

Friendly staff and nice rooms. The breakfast is very good, especially the waffles and the Omelettes. The host Dailin is very nice too. Can also recommend room service. The valets are also nice and the valet parking is reasonably priced

Only small downside: the pool felt a bit dirty and the water is not clear

Having such a great experience in this hotel. One of the employees named flash was such a great help with finding great places and making sure I had a great experience in Panama. He was very helpful in such many ways which made my stay a lot easier

Great location, atmosphere, rooms and staff! All staff were friendly and welcoming. William Smith was so friendly and accommodating. He remembered our coffee orders in the morning and was someone we could rely on during our stay.

Service at the breakfast restaurant was excellent. Dailin Morales was excellent and so helpful! We appreciated her high level service!!

Omgggg the best experience EVER! From the front desk to the bar which by the way William Smith was AWESOME! So happens we have the same last name too but everything was great! We even got a complimentary bottle of champagne which was SOO nice! And the spa ladies who did our massage were very respectful and my husband said he couldn’t move after (or didn’t want to) lol.
