SUNSURI PHUKET, Nai Harn Beach

This is a nice quiet resort. Its large. Lots of steps. Good gym. Great pool. Staff are so great. Ive had a really good time.

Lovely stay with excellent friendly staff (Mookie deserves a mention). We had an ocean view room which was really nice. Very big with a lovely balcony. The bathroom was a nice size with a lovely shower and the complimentary shower gel, shampoo and body lotion were excellent. A very good breakfast with a lot of choices. We booked through Luxury Escapes and had a package of lunch or dinner included (quite a decent menu to choose from), one hour free drinks and two 45 minute massages each. I thought it was all very good. The pools were lovely and you could always get a sun lounger (the pool opened at 9am so it stopped an early rush for beds). The beach is about a 5 minute walk and the hotel offer a shuttle service. It’s a lovely beach with fairly limited sun loungers (200 TBH for two beds). They all go quite early (sunbeds open at 8am) but during the day people come and go so you can usually get a bed at some point. Food and drink cheap on the beach too.
Only drawback to the hotel is there are a lot of steps. We were in block S1 so we had a lift but there was still a fair few steps in the heat.
Overall it was a really excellent stay and everything in my view was really lovely.

The missing 1 is for not having a very good cleaning for the room price itself, we expected for something clean overall as its kind of expensive and the buffet seems so basic for a 5 star hotel. The beach shuttle shows on their hard copy that it's every 40 minutes when they actually leave at every 30 minutes.

The location is peaceful and its nearby the beaches.

An exceptional two weeks. Clare at breakfast was so welcoming and hospitable. Great food on offer. All the team were so nice and friendly. Bam, Mooky, Nooey in the pool bar were so nice and made our holiday feel special.

I loved our stay at Sunsuri. We stayed in a villa suite with an infinity pool. It was prettier in person than in the pictures. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I thought the staff was really good. I also enjoyed lunch by the pool and thought that was good. Everything I cared about was up to my expectations. Housecleaning staff - wonderful! The bed was a little hard and I asked for a mattress topper. The shower pressure was good. Every time we left our room except to bring our luggage, we walked up the stairs to our room. This is not easy unless you are in decent shape. People with mobility issues might not want to rely on a buggy ride to and from their room. I was impressed with the Sunsuri and would recommend staying there.

5 star experience. Beautiful hotel and amazing staff that can’t do enough for you! Rooms are perfect, spacious and clean and lovely to look at. Other reviews mention the rooms being high up but we just used the Tuk tuk service which was very reliable so it didn’t bother us at all! Food is unbelievable and reasonable priced! Overall , a great experience for 2 adults and 2 children. Big thank you to Mang for my son’s Thai boxing lesson - he absolutely loved it!!! 5 min walk to the gorgeous nai harn beach and a Tuktuk service is avail to get you there and back each hour. A really perfect spot!!

This is my and the husband second time here. It is so beautiful. It is calm and peaceful. The rooms are so luxurious and spacious. Having a private infinity pool is such a treat as well.

From check in, to room service, room traveling var service and dining, it is a 5/5 experience.

Both times we came for our wedding anniversary.

We have enjoyed our time at the Sunsuri Hotel the staff at Reception were very helpful also all the other members staff at the hotel were polite and very helpful the hotel is nice and clean Breakfast was good, special thanks to all the staff especially Pond the Executive chief had a chat with him most days always smiling, also the staff in the restaurant and the cooks also Ginger who made my coffee every day which I enjoyed and Wear, and also Fair the trainee and the staff around the pool bar and our cleaners of 1204 Namwhan and Noey who done a fantastic job cleaning our room to a very high standard thank you all and good luck for the future.

Lovely hotel very close to Bai Harn beach

Concrete blocks luxurious rooms softened by trees and palm trees. Warm pools to swim in. Rooms are large and very comfortable with air conditioning, fridge, safe, rain water showers and hair dryer.

Be warned there are lots and lots of steps down to breakfast as the hotel is on a hill but great views from the balcony.
Breakfast was really good and the chef was very helpful with gluten free bread and cakes every morning. Lots of options to eat

Free shuttle bus is offered to your room and regularly down to the beach as well although it is possible to easily walk there in a few minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Massages are available on the beach and are professional and clean.
The beach is also clean and has trees on the shoreline offering shade. Lifeguards also patrol the beach and the sunset is stunning.

Not a lot of night-time entertainment but great for a peaceful stay.

We are currently staying in this “ resort” .
Purchased the most expensive package and staying in villa 9510.
What can I say ? Travelled around the world and this is the worse experience!!!
Accommodations - the villa is in good condition but accessible only by a resort shuttle.
It’s a shame that after paying over 100,000 BTH for a week they will give you only two small bottles of water for “ free” ( nothing free is here. , we already prepaid for it)

This package included breakfast and dinner . Let me tell you - breakfast is included for everyone who is staying in this “ resort”,so restaurant is crowded and service stuff watching you like a hawks .
Today I was trying to take a few tangerines with me and being stopped and shamed for that ! I can’t believe it!!
Breakfast menu is generic and the same every morning, so by the day #3 you are already fed up with this “ sample” mediocre food.

Dinner . Restaurant is empty every night as people didn’t want to pay for “ insanely” expensive meal.
Dinner menu is also the sameevery night,) they are even laminated “ it as I think they never change .it.
Menu is consistent on a few appetizers, few main dishes and 4 deserts . Can you imagine “ rotate” them day after day.
Today is day #5 and I can’t wait for this “ vacation from hell “ to be over .
The place is secluded from all main areas, so to get anywhere you must to pay transportation.
Beach is very crowded by mostly loud Russians who are didn’t care about anyone around them. Beach looks like a big gypsy camp, ⛺️ no lounge chairs , no umbrellas .
This very mediocre place hard to call the a “ resort”.
We paid the highest price and expected the high quality service .
For those who are looking for luxury vacation please Stay Away from this place.

My wife and I stayed at the ocean view private pool villa for just a long weekend getaway. The room was amazing. The small touches is what set this hotel apart from the others like the attention to detail, and the genuine kindness of the staff. Particularly the staff was amazing friendly, kind and wonderful. Truly a great place.

Currently here for 2 weeks and the stand outs are:
lovely and professional staff, notably on the front desk and housekeeping;
the pools;
high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel;
the delicious and varied breakfasts;
the comfortable room facilities;
well equipped gym.
Only noticeable small criticism is that the rooms need updating.

The hotel is quiet, private, enjoyable. 5 minutes walk to nin Han beach. All staffs are warm hearted and willing to help. Car service 24/7. Breakfast delicious, dishes various. Special thanks to Phu Clukre and Fari Khing.

Amazing experience, amazing staff, 3 pools, very clean so many facilities including gym and had room, happy hour twice a day, amazing cocktails, beer buckets, prices very accurate, you can’t even feel that there’s families around. Pool area amazing and really spacious

What a great place. Staff can't do enough for you. The animation team with Keay the supervisor where so good. Keay helped both my friend and myself. Making sure we were happy. Pluem helped my friend who had hurt herself with the steps to the toilet and waited to help her down again. The spa massages were amazing. Only thing I could say is if for two weeks stay rotate the set menu and the clothes shop change that to a little store to buy water and soft drinks. The staff in the restaurant so polite. From the manager to the cleaners. We both agreed we have never been treated so kind and courteous as this hotel.

The hotel is ideal for local beaches in Nai Harn, Ya Nui and Rawai is also close by.
It is a short walk to local bars and restaurants.
The entertainment team are also great, special mentions to Mang and Fat who enjoyed volleyball as much as us and made our time very enjoyable.
