The stuff is super friendly
Beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and pizza was good
Not worth the price despite its proximity to the airport. I don’t think it was much quicker to get there with the rail system compared to other hotels that have shuttles. At least with the shuttles you get dropped off at the hotel door. Very disappointed with the size of the room. It was very small even for just one night. The rooms are also quite dark in the evening, despite having all of the lights on. The front desk clerk didn’t welcome us, just asked our name and gave us the key. Overall, not a great experience after a long day of travel.
Very handy for the airport and easy to get to on the free little train. Good size comfy room. The restaurant in the lobby is excellent and open 6am to midnight. Hotel staff are very accommodating when you need a late checkout. Great views. Highly recommend

Staff very helpful and restaurant is amazing. Rooms are clean and modern and easy to get to and from Pearson.
We have stayed at the Alt Hotel many times and always love returning there, especially before departures or after arrivals from the Toronto airport, but also on weekend car trips to visit family in Toronto. The hotel has a welcoming vibe with very friendly staff and service, and a down-to-earth, comfy atmosphere rather than a fancy or luxurious one, which makes us feel like being at a home away from home. Rooms have a modern European feel, with a handy wooden bench in the bathroom and a coffee nookie around the corner from the bed featuring a Nespresso machine and pods. There's a nice little restaurant and bar area in the lobby, where the fire in the tiled Italian pizza oven is visible and makes us look forward to the excellent pizza during our stay. Parking is available directly across from the hotel, and the entrance to the monorail shuttle to the airport terminals is literally right next door. We're already looking forward to our next stay!
The mattress is ok but could be better. When one person gets up or moves during the night, the motion can wake the other person. A big improvement would be switching to motion isolation or motion-transfer-absorbing mattresses, such as good pocketed coil or memory foam ones. Also, although the gym on the top floor is excellent, it would be great if it included one or two rowing machines, for example the Concept 2 machine available in most gyms, which are perfect and take up little space. Rowing is one of the best all-round exercises, and is one of the few I and other people with sports injuries and artificial knees can actually do intensely.

This is my fifth time staying here. Location for flights is excellent. Beds are very comfortable with nice linens. The design is basic but very clean with everything you need. The restaurant attached makes a great light dinner and breakfast.
