We had an incredible time at this ultra lovely hotel !! The staff were incredible !! Such lovely people who give you a very warm welcome !! The food was extremely nice all served around the lovely scenery of clacton beach !! The room was bright and airy but lacked a little table in front of the settee to put your tea / coffee on !! That bed was so comfortable and spacious !! The parking was easy to find and i must say a massive thank you to Charlie who really went out of his way to get us to the comrades when we couldn't book a cab due to unavailability !! Thank you so much mate much appreciated !! We shall certainly be staying there again !! Kind regards mark and shazza star x

Large room with great sea view. It was fairly basic with flimsy bedside tables and lacked drawer unit for clothes; however had clean functional bathroom and clean bedding.
Breakfast was very good.
Nice friendly staff.
Free parking and early check-in a real bonus.

Corridors were not clean especially the carpets
Found out there was a private party after booking
Room was very secure so left without staying

Didn’t expect too much as was overnight stay for early ferry trip for family of 6 with little research. Staff were welcoming and hotel modern and room very clean. They got up extra early to give us continental breakfast. Great location, nice bar , recommended! Far exceeded our expectations Thankyou.

We booked this for its proximity to family after flying in from Australia and I didn’t expect much. While not a fancy hotel, we had a lovely stay with our young family. We arrived late and check in was made very very easy. Our room was huge, very clean and very comfortable. Staff the next morning were very accomodating and we enjoyed breakfast. Thanks for taking care of us!

Enjoyed our stay, only down here for 1 night but great location, room was really spacious with a great view, only low point was we waited 55 minutes for a little fry up to come out this morning and it ate in to our time and plans for this morning/afternoon, but all in all a nice night away.

No protector on bed or pillows late night noise breakfast good needs a referb in rooms television a nightmare

The only bad point was the awful mattress.
For me it was just worn out.
But, the price paid and everything else was unbeatable.
The full English was amazing value for money cooked just right and lots of it, superb.
A lovely stay in a great seafront room.
Would use this hotel again.
