3HB Golden Beach

Just got back from 10 days holiday at this fabulous complex.
We felt relaxed from the moment the lovely receptionist checked us in. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We will be returning very soon!

Hotel excellent, rooms very clean and spacious, staff so friendly could not do enough for us lovely pool area and bar. stayed in units 37 and 39 with sea views , we were a group of nine men, sharing two apartments we all thought the apartments and pool were of a very high standard, A special mention to the staff, "a big thank you from all of us" we had a wonderful time.

Just returned on sun 21st June and I must say the only bad thing about this hotel is we could only give it 5 stars well worth at least 10. On arrival we were greeted with a smile from the lovely Gina who along with her team also lovely made our stay fantastic, Our room wasn`t quite ready as we had early flights so we were directed to the bar where we enjoyed some of the best kept San Miguel iv`e ever had at a very fair price then they contacted me to let me know our apartment was ready and boy what a fine apartment it was you want for nothing, The beds where so comfortable air con in lounge and bedroom tv in lounge and bedroom welcome pack on arrival beach bag with milk,biscuits and 2 water bottles to fill up as you please from the ice cold water dispenser, The surrounding area lovely swimming pool surrounded by flowers and shrubs giving a fabulous burst of beautiful colour. Don`t forget to get a Tuk Tuk to the old town great experience and also if you are looking for a great Sunday/wednesday lunch head for the Wayward Inn straight through the strip to the crossroads turn right about three minutes walk on your left you won`t go Hungary. All I can say is thank you Golde Beach we hope to be back next year.

We arrived about 9.30pm. The check in was quick. Walked into room 33. First thing I noticed the smell of cleanliness. Very spacious and clean 1 bed apartment. Balcony great size. Bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Very comfy beds. Apartment cleaned daily with fresh towels given. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, very pretty with lovely colourful flowers. Kept very well. The bar and snack bar were great. Delicious food and cocktails and reasonable price. Enough sunbeds to go round. A nice chilled vibe around the pool. This hotel is only 5 minute walk from the strip but once your there, we couldnt hear anything. We slept so well. It was our anniversary and we had a beautiful surprise left . The staff here are amazing and so helpful and polite. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Highly recommend

We had a fab time at 3HB Golden beach. Love the friendly welcome we received from Anna and the other receptionists.

Our deluxe apartment no.33 was very spacious, lovely decor, well equipped, we had a spacious balcony with a partial seaview. The cleaners came in daily with fresh towels etc. We loved the fact that it was a small complex with less than 60 apartments close to the beach. The grounds were lovely with beautiful flower borders and kept beautifully clean.

There was a lovely pool and small snack bar, playing music and had happy hour 4 until 6. They had entertainment for a couple of hours twice a week however this was at 4 until 6pm so we only caught the last 10 mins of the saxophone player (who was really good).

We think they would benefit from opening the bar up on evenings with some background music as we loved the area with the beach side restaurants however nowhere to sit after food for a drink and music. At the top of the hill was the strip lots of busy restaurants and bars, enticing the young crowds, so lots of stag and hen dos (not our cup of tea at all !) There was some noise from the stag groups at the adjacent apartments however nothing the hotel could do about this.

We had some lovely meals at Italian republic a few doors away and O'Davids (brilliant sirloin steak) in old town Albufeira, €5 Uber taxi each way. Zoo marine well worth a visit it was a lovely place to visit the best dolphin show I've seen, lots of other different shows plus rides and waterpark. €10 euros each way Uber. Villamoura family golf and marina worth a visit too.

We would definitely recommend 3HB Golden beach and look forward to returning in future.

3HB Golden Beach is a beautiful, clean, central and well-maintained property located a stone's throw from Praia da Oura beach. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly. We were upgraded upon arrival to a room with a stunning view of the beach. The team at the property also noticed it was my partner's birthday during our stay and left a bottle of prosecco and a card in the room for her as a birthday treat. We loved the little touch of the beach bag and refillable water bottles provided to guests on arrival. Would absolutely stay again :) <3

Myself and my partner stayed here for 10 nights from 1st June and really enjoyed relaxing around the pool area. It was very clean and surrounded by lovely plants/flowers. Pool towels were supplied which can also be taken to the beach. The food and drinks at the bar were lovely too. Very close to the beach and local supermarkets/restuarants. The resort itself is small but the beaches were very nice. We took a Tuk Tuk to the Old Town and an Uber to the marina. The boat trip to Benagil caves was very good too. My only gripe about the whole holiday was the number of groups of lads and girls who go there to party at the strip. It was embarrassing listening to all the shouting and yeering. I think the strip should be replaced with shops and restaurants, which would make it a nicer area to visit.

After booking we were skeptical of this hotel as we didn’t realise it was down the road from the strip and were worried about other reviews about the sunbeds being taken so early however you cannot hear a noise from the strip in the hotel rooms the hotel was lovely and peaceful. The sunbeds were only about 60% taken by the time it was 1pm plenty of spaces left and seats by the beach bar. The staff and cleaners were all so lovely as was the manager of the hotel. The location is about a 25 min walk from the old town which is lovely to explore or only cost us about £4 in an uber home. The cocktails and food at the bar were also amazing. The hotel apartments were so spacious and open and so clean when we arrived and once the lovely cleaners had been in. They have a filtered water facility in the reception and you are given bottles at the start of the holiday to use which is way more useful than carrying huge bottles back from supermarkets. Couldn’t fault the hotel and 100% would stay here again.

When we booked these apartments we asked to travel agent to send an email requesting a quite room which apparently wasnt received.! My husband isn't well we also pay a premium on insurance. When we arrived we was given room at the side of the bar and pool,the balcony was opposite some private apartments which was extremely noisy around.
The apartments are clean and well equipped but the area in which they are located is an absolute hell hole. It's very roudy we was awake all night for 2 weeks.
There are people singing shouting at 3pm 4pm onwards . Across the road from the apartments is can only be described has a rough block of flats where people are singing and making so much noise I wanted to come home. We was shown another room opposite a playground just has noisy so didn't bother.These are very nice apartments unfortunately for us it was seriously the wrong area
It is the worst holiday we have ever had.

brill location,rooms spotless and large with all your needs.great valuue.staff very friendly.pool area great.bar prices and food reasonable.quiet area.near beach and shops and plenty of eateries.we was in n0 8.could not fault this place.we went with jet 2.

This being our 5th time here, in 3 years, may show how much we like it and just wonderful it is for location and excellent staff. Located down from the strip it is still very quiet with fabulous sea views. The rooms and all areas are kept spotless with rooms cleaned daily. The pool area is lovely and pool towels are provided as well as a lovely little café area. It is all very well kept and the pictures of the rooms are just as they actually are. Both the kitchen and bathroom have the basics that you need for a self catering holiday. It’s a great location for exploring the coastal paths which have easy access to the various types of local buses.

What a beautiful place to stay. Very good value. The staff are amazing. The complex is kept so well. The sea views are beautiful. 3HB Golden Beach is near the strip but is still a beautiful quiet area. A lovely place for couples to have a quiet break away. It's a two minute walk to a lovely beach with shops and restaurants in the area. A real find. We will definitely be back!

Loved this hotel. One bedroom apartment had all the amenities needed. Spacious and very comfortable. We had a fantastic sea view from bedroom and lounge with a balcony that we made good use of. Staff were most helpful and as most people have mentioned, rooms were spotless. Great location for restaurants and bars. Great for the beach. We will definitely come back again.

Great location. Large comfortable rooms. Lovely staff reception and housekeeping. Place is spotless. We had a lovely large corner balcony with sun all day. Room 35 very quiet. Got a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a lovely note for my birthday which was a great surprise. Close to bars and restaurants. Ubers great for going to Old Town. Also thanks to Jet 2 for there great service.

Rooms were a good size and very clean. Very close to pubs and restaurants but still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.

Excellent location, 2 minutes to the beach and about 5-6 minutes to Albufreia strip. Comfortable beds, specular view! There is a market/grocery store and 5-6 small shops just below the resort. Remember to bring cooking oil and your cooking spices, salt & pepper and napkins!
