Very disappointing
Pros:

I can't believe this place has this high of a rating.
We arrived at around 5pm. There was no one at the front desk. Apparently, they don't have anyone to cover the desk when the clerk goes on break. While waiting, we saw a posted sign that said the water would be out for most of one day. I understand that water systems need maintenance, but it would have been nice to know about before we got there.
Once we got to our room, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I've slept on cots that are more comfortable. The bed pillows are about the size of throw pillows, but have less support.
The AC unit fan was pulsing whenever it ran. I don't mean it switched off and on like it should. I mean the fan literally pulsed like something was rapidly covering and uncovering it. I tried reporting it to the desk, but was told that was normal.
The breakfast was also terrible.

Enjoy your Pets.
Pros:

Probably last stay with Hampton, anywhere. Pets have taken over the site. Barking all day long and at night. Owners walk the pet and do not remove mess on the property. Leave dogs in room during the day and they bark constantly. The real part that iced the reason. Pets are brought to the breakfast area and allowed to eat food taken from the food bar. Placed on the plates and fed same as humans. I stayed thee days and each day became worse than the one before. Done Hampton. 26 years down the tubes. There are better places and I've started using them.

Good Stay
Pros:

This was our first time in Pigeon Forge, and we didn’t know how big the place was and all of the various activities you can do. The hotel is right next door to a mini-golf and kiddie mountain coaster. Since we were staying during the peak travel season, the hotel was pretty busy but still was manageable getting around.

My daughter loves to hit the pools, and this place had quite a setup, as they had both indoor and outdoor pools and both were open. The indoor pool was pretty plain (and cold) so we barely went into it, but the one outside is much better anyway. The water was warm and there was a separate kiddie pool, and both outdoor pools had some other nice touches such as colored lights that changed. They also had a hot tub which was relaxing as it seems many places don’t have it anymore.

The room itself had plenty of room, but the walls were not that thick as we could still easily hear some crying children from down the hall. Overall, it was still fine.

For breakfast despite the crowds, we were still able to get a table, and they did a good job in keeping the area clean and items in stock.

Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay and would come back. The only minor issue I had (and if I could take away a half-star I would), is that since I guess this is a ‘modern’ Hampton, they no longer have the cute various pictures outside the rooms. I’m sure 95% of people reading this will say ‘who cares’, but our family got a kick out of it, and we would guess what room we would get in advance, such as the apple pie room. It also made it easy to remember what room we had. I’m sure it was done as a cost cutting measure but getting rid of things like that remove the touches that make the Hampton Inn unique and gives us one less reason to stay at them.

Good short stay
Pros:

Went for a couple days in Pigeon Forge. Hotel staff were great. Rooms were clean and quiet for the most part. Some of the reviews had comments about carpet our room had hardwood floors.Breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel. Better than a few stays I have had.
Hotel is in a great location. Plenty of parking on our stay Pools wand hot tube were clean. Towels at the pool. Several restaurants within walking distance.
If I had a complaint it would be that room service is every other day. I like trash emptied and fresh towels and wash clothes.
Had a great stay and look forward to staying there again.

Pros:

We did enjoy the pool and hot tub, and the treadmill, along with the fireplace outside.

Cons:

Sorry to say that the breakfast sausage was cold.. We were upset that for a few days our room did not get cleaned, we were then told that you have to request that. That was a bit different.
