Comfy place to get your head down with amazing views
Pros:

The views was amazing it is a old building plenty of space in the room we was in wouldn’t recommend for someone that’s not good with stairs but overall was a nice place to stay and breakfast was good

The stairs and I do think they need new bathrooms

Choosing a hotel on the Esplanade we would have hoped higher standards
Pros:

The room was spacious with an added bonus it was got so 1 fan was in the room

Cons:

Check in - we were provided 3 keys ( never told what key was for what door!). Told the lift didn’t work so we’d have to carry up out case 2 floors. Never advised what happened if there was a fire nor advised what time breakfast was (this wasn’t even in the room for info) the lady was more interested in telling us Gary Barlow was staying in the next door hotel as the penthouses on their top floor had been commondired.


The extension the kettle was plugged into had masking tape poorly wrapped around it. Wallpaper was 2 different types in both rooms. Missing parts to floor boards which resulted in my 11 year old tripping up on.

The bathroom….. where do I start! The toilet rocked! The sink was a small hand basin which you couldn’t really wash your face or brush your teeth in due to the shelf inches above it

Overall enjoyed your stay,the view made all the difference
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely and the view was amazing as you could see all of the harbour and at night you could see ships in the distance

Cons:

The beds was hard and there was damage on the wall and floor in bathroom was ripped

Pros:

The size of the room was really good we stopped in a triple room called Clark with a sea view. The beds were extremely comfortable. Room was spacious and clean.The breakfast was also very nice.

Cons:

The toilet drainage system is very loud and flush not great due to height of hotel. The carpet was slightly marked however nothing that bad to stop me revisiting.
