Exceptional
Pros:

I had an outstanding stay at Metropark Istanbul Hotel. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent facilities and a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home.

I would especially like to thank Mr. Mohammed at the reception. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality made a huge difference in my experience. He welcomed me with a warm smile, was always helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. His outstanding service created an excellent first impression of the hotel and Istanbul at all, and it remained one of the highlights of my visit.

Pros:

The location was excellent, across the road from Taksim Square and about 150m from Istiklal road, short walking distance to the Galata Tower as well.

Worst experience I had with a hotel in my life.
Pros:

The location is good, next to Taksim Square and gives you access to everywhere in Istanbul.

Cons:

I was treated very bad on the first day. When I arrived, they asked me to have a physical card to pay and didn't accept my contactless. I did not have a physical card so the receptionist suggested me to cancel my booking and make another one to be able to pay online. When I did this, the price went 45 Euros higher!! and he refused to adjust the price and made me to pay the extra. I contacted Booking.com but they did not help at all. This was my worst experience at a hotel

Overall it was a very enjoyable stay which we liked.
Pros:

the housekeeping kept the rooms very clean every day, the room was nice and quiet, the personnel was incredibly nice and helpful and the food was very delicious every breakfast. At the Room 213

Cons:

in room 212 where my son was staying I did not enjoy the fact that the room had an intense smell of cigarette smoke that would not go away no matter how much the room was cleaned or aired out.

It's close to the square, clean, and the service is good.

Cons:

The hotel is stingy with supplies. If you don't ask them for coffee, powdered milk, tea, and water in the room, they won't provide them. I stayed here for four nights and they didn't provide a single bottle of water.
