The front desk agent was pleasant and dealt with our issue very quickly.
Walking distance to Applebees Restaurant (maybe half block in distance, but you have to cross the street to get there.
The door to our hotel room would not lock so the front desk agent quickly moved us to a different room without any issue. The hotel is showing signs of wear.
We came for a funeral. Loved that all three of us could be together. Called & upgraded reservation because two of my siblings stayed also. I was told one price & billed a diff. amt. Be careful because of additional charges.
Bill was higher than quoted. What they tell you is not what they charged. I paid the amount but they are not truthful. One person remembers our conversation but then they had to talk to Mgr. That's called bait & switch which tells me don't change my reservation for others.
Wonderful staff, nice clean homey facilities.
The staff were rude. Wanted to charge a fee of $20 for early check-in when it was 15 minutes prior, but did not charge anything for the gentleman checking in right after me. I arrived when I did because on booking.com it said 2pm check-in when I arrived it was 3pm. After blatantly applying the policy differently she wouldn’t meet my eyes, they were loudly cackling in the office behind the front desk, and made people wait.
Additionally, there were dark hairs all over the room I was assigned. On the nightstand and in the bathroom, the desk chair was broken, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to cool.
Nice roomy rooms, clean, kitchenette, comfy beds/pillows
100% lack of preparation for breakfast! Arrived at 7:30. What little eggs that were there were so overcooked they were crispy on the bottom and the top. The meat had not started yet and took 30 minutes to cook. Waffle batter was empty so we had to find somebody to come and fill it. There were fruit bowls there but no fruit. What could have been an amazing breakfast was totally awful because nothing was prepared or ready. There was no crowd so therefore there was no excuse.

Security lock didn’t work; I was told wrong locks had been sent.
There was a paper towel or something over the smoke detector. Staff said housekeeping would attend to it.
