We stayed at both La Sultana Marrakech and Qualidia, the latter at the suggestion of and arranged by the excellent concierge Saida. Both properties are beautifully appointed with meticulous attention to detail in both communal areas and individually decorated rooms. There are many spaces so it is easy to be private whilst not isolated in quiet and immaculately clean surroundings. Both properties have an excellent spa and it was easy to book appointments. Most significant however all members of staff from bell hop to manager looked after us with grace and kindness. We felt like royalty.

If you want to stay in a piece of artwork, then this is a great spot. Very authentic, very Moroccan. The welcome tea was wonderful and they left us treats (fruit, desserts) in the room that lasted us a few days, a very nice touch.

Our stay at La Sultana has been nothing short of enchanting—a true oasis where time seems to soften and every moment becomes a quiet celebration of beauty and care.

From the very first greeting to our final farewell, the service has been flawless: warm, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt. The staff do not simply host—they anticipate, they remember, they create an atmosphere where one feels not like a guest, but like a cherished friend returning home.

The cuisine deserves its own poetry. Each meal was a delicate journey through flavors—refined, vibrant, and crafted with evident passion. Dining here is not merely nourishment; it is an experience that lingers long after the last bite.

The setting itself is a dream woven in light, fragrance, and intricate detail. Every corner whispers elegance, every space invites calm. It is a place where beauty is not imposed, but naturally lives.

Style, attention to detail, space

It was the absolutely perfect way to end our two week visit to Morocco. La Sultana delivered a luxury incredible perfect end to our stay in Marrakech. We wanted to chill and relax, and it was the perfect place to do so.

The staff make you feel so welcome. It is located in the Kasbah area, in the Medina - where it can be busy and hectic. To be able to walk into the secluded sanctuary of La Sultana was priceless.

The location was perfect for us to duck out to visit the souks and local restaurants. There is so much choice just outside the Riad. We didn’t have any meals in La Sultana regrettably but our final night with cocktails on the rooftop was memorable.

We had a few niggling issues and the Head Concierge, the wonderful Saida Loutou, was so responsive and perceptible. She is the beating heartbeat behind this place and is the reason why La Sultana has soul (and is not just a hotel).

It is an intimate boutique hotel - you will feel so at home and won’t want to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at La Sultana Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional, the team were genuinely warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed.

The riad itself is stunning, with incredible attention to detail throughout the historic setting. Every space feels carefully considered and beautifully maintained, full of character and charm. The pool area is a real highlight and a peaceful place to relax after time in the Medina. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with great variety and quality.

We also dined in the restaurant and had a fantastic meal, again with service that felt thoughtful and personal rather than formal or forced.

What really stood out was how well looked after we felt throughout our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.

We would absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend La Sultana to anyone visiting Marrakech.

How do you describe magic with words? You don’t. It’s something you experience. That’s La Sultana for us!!! The attention to details, impeccable design. Where do I even begin? The aesthetics and scents were whimsical. You feel like you’re immediately transported into a scene from a movie. I would literally pinch myself every time we walked through the little alley and into the hotel’s entrance. Ghizlan and the team were just PHENOMENAL. We were there for a very short 3 days. They pampered us!!!! We were there during Valentine’s Day too. We came back to a room decorated with rose petals, candles everywhere. My heart is so full thinking about our time there. I wish I could’ve stayed there for 3 weeks, but we were touring other cities in Morocco so it wasn’t an option!!! I couldn’t recommend it enough. Location is perfect, walking distance from many of the historic sites and some of the best restaurants. The rooms are a work of art. Do NOT skip breakfast 🥰. If you’re looking to feel like royalty. La Sultana and its staff will absolutely make sure you do!!!!!! They are kind, professional, go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. I will be back. No two ways about it!!!!!! Thank you Ghizlan. Meeting you especially was one of the absolute highlights of my trip!!! Your kindness and generosity are truly inspiring.

La Sultana is absolutely wonderful. Quiet and intimate, the service is warm, personal and immaculate. The building itself, and the rooms, are absolutely stunning: there is no view or line of sight that is uninteresting or boring, the quality of design is astonishing. Yet it is the little things that make the difference. I went to La Sultana on my honeymoon and on arrival we were delighted to find rose petals in the bathroom and a tray of delicious sweets and pastries to welcome us. The whole thing was fantastic, I can't think of a single bad word to say about it and we shall definitely return.
