La Sultana Marrakech

How do you describe magic with words? You don’t. It’s something you experience. That’s La Sultana for us!!! The attention to details, impeccable design. Where do I even begin? The aesthetics and scents were whimsical. You feel like you’re immediately transported into a scene from a movie. I would literally pinch myself every time we walked through the little alley and into the hotel’s entrance. Ghizlan and the team were just PHENOMENAL. We were there for a very short 3 days. They pampered us!!!! We were there during Valentine’s Day too. We came back to a room decorated with rose petals, candles everywhere. My heart is so full thinking about our time there. I wish I could’ve stayed there for 3 weeks, but we were touring other cities in Morocco so it wasn’t an option!!! I couldn’t recommend it enough. Location is perfect, walking distance from many of the historic sites and some of the best restaurants. The rooms are a work of art. Do NOT skip breakfast 🥰. If you’re looking to feel like royalty. La Sultana and its staff will absolutely make sure you do!!!!!! They are kind, professional, go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. I will be back. No two ways about it!!!!!! Thank you Ghizlan. Meeting you especially was one of the absolute highlights of my trip!!! Your kindness and generosity are truly inspiring.

La Sultana is absolutely wonderful. Quiet and intimate, the service is warm, personal and immaculate. The building itself, and the rooms, are absolutely stunning: there is no view or line of sight that is uninteresting or boring, the quality of design is astonishing. Yet it is the little things that make the difference. I went to La Sultana on my honeymoon and on arrival we were delighted to find rose petals in the bathroom and a tray of delicious sweets and pastries to welcome us. The whole thing was fantastic, I can't think of a single bad word to say about it and we shall definitely return.

Even if you don’t stay go for a drink or meal. Fabulous place, quiet and beautiful. Food is top class with a mix of tradional and modern Moroccan. Trad food is done in 5 star way so try it. Roof top bar is great with heaters Ian’s . blankets if it’s cold. Cocktails are different,and great.
Staff very helpful and friendly and eager to help.
Try Moroccan wine rather than French

I have only positive things to say about this hotel. The common areas and rooms are gorgeous. The service was impeccable-the hotel staff members are very attentive without being overbearing. We enjoyed nightly visits to the rooftop bar where the food exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance to activities and restaurants. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere in the world.

I had a truly relaxing experience at the spa of la Sultana Marrakech. From the moment we arriveed, the atmosphere was calm, beautiful & very welcoming. We enjoyed a traditional Moroccan hammam followed by a relaxing massage, ans it was amazing. It’s the perfect place to escape yhe busy streets of Marrakech and enjoy a peaceful moment of relaxation. I highly recommend this spa if you're looking for a high-quality wellness experience in the city.

Marrakech is lovely but crazy busy city, entering the La Sultana is a different world with quiet, luxury, quality and an amazing place to escape the city.

We had the most wonderful 48 hours at La Sultana Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome — everyone is warm, attentive and so clearly passionate about what they do. The riad itself is absolutely enchanting and full of character. There were so many places to sit and relax, each with a different style and view, it felt like we didn’t need to venture out! We especially loved breakfast by the pool, rooftop terrace and the breath-taking views of the Atlas Mountains, and all the meals were delicious!

Where do I begin? La Sultana is simply extraordinary. From the design, to the food and drinks, to the spa — every moment in the hotel was a pleasure. But what truly made our stay memorable was the level of service and the people.

I have been fortunate to travel all over the world and the staff at La Sultana is the best of the best. They helped curate every moment of our stay in Marrakech: getting us reservations at restaurants, guided tours of the city — even breakfast each morning was just fantastic. If I had a thought and simply mentioned it, it became real. I felt I was in the most luxurious, silken dream, from which I never wanted to awaken.

Two moments that most impressed me: 1) I realized I had run out of the deodorant I packed. The concierge sent someone to multiple pharmacies to find my exact deodorant!
2) I had brought two books to read. The maid who came for turndown service on the first night put bookmarks in my books. Completely unnecessary but a level of care that made you know you were truly being taken care of.

I cannot wait to return. I could spend days without ever leaving the riad. A true gem in the middle of Marrakech!

A lovely atmosphere and great attentive staff. The crab starter was amazing and the lamb main course to share (it was massive!) was also very good. Would recommend it.

This property is easily to most premium place I have ever stayed in my entire life. The staff accommodated any and every whim I even hinted at. The rooms were impeccable both in their furnishing and cleanliness, and every corner of this property has incredible details waiting to be discovered. The moment you walk in, you're transported to one of the most curated spaces you'll ever visit. Food, drinks, staff, amenities, rooms. Every piece of this property will leave you in awe.

What a beautiful boutique hotel! Very near the hustle and bustle of everything but far enough away to be a peaceful oasis. Rooftop is a beautiful place to have a drink or dinner and watch over the rooftops of the city. Breakfast every morning was a pleasure. Friendly staff who greeted us by name every morning and brought us our US newspaper summary. Excellent service all around.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Sultana in Marrakech. From the moment I arrived, the service was truly outstanding—warm, attentive, and incredibly personal. Everyone seemed to know my name, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more thoughtful, which made the experience feel genuinely special rather than just luxurious.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and its location right in the heart of the Medina is perfect for exploring while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. I felt well cared for every single day of my stay, and it’s rare to find a place where the level of service is this consistently high.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Sultana to anyone looking for an unforgettable Marrakech experience.
