Lo que más me encantó fue el entorno natural y las vistas espectaculares al océano desde mi cabaña. La tranquilidad y el diseño ecológico del lodge crearon un ambiente de total relajación y conexión con la naturaleza. El desayuno con frutas frescas y opciones locales también fue un excelente comienzo de día.
Literalmente, no hubo nada que me desagradara durante mi estancia; todo fue perfecto. La experiencia de desconexión y la conexión con la naturaleza fueron maravillosas, convirtiendo cada momento en el lodge en un verdadero placer.
Aunuque no este ubicado frente al mar, tiene unas instalaciones muy buenas unas vistas increibles y a tan solo 5 minutos de la playa!
Lo único rescatable del lugar fue el paisaje y la naturaleza, tranquilidad había en el ambiente pero el servicio es lo que me dejó un mal sabor de boca y honestamente no volvería a ir.
La experiencia en Azuluna Ecolodge resultó considerablemente insatisfactoria. El servicio presentó múltiples deficiencias, iniciando por la actitud poco cordial y carente de profesionalismo por parte del personal de cocina, lo cual afectó negativamente la estancia.
Asimismo, se evidenciaron fallas en la única tecnología disponible en la habitación, el sistema de aire acondicionado, cuyo mal funcionamiento nos obligó a posponer actividades planificadas hasta que se realizara la reparación correspondiente. Lamentablemente, al día siguiente el inconveniente volvió a presentarse, sin una solución definitiva.
Otro aspecto preocupante fue la limpieza de la habitación realizada sin previo aviso ni autorización, y en ausencia de algún miembro de nuestra familia, pese a que en el interior se encontraban objetos de valor, lo cual generó incomodidad e inseguridad.
Si bien el establecimiento cuenta con reconocimientos obtenidos hace más de una década, estos no se reflejan en la experiencia actual. Azuluna Ecolodge posee un notable potencial para ofrecer un entorno acogedor, estéticamente agradable y verdaderamente relajante; sin embargo, dicho potencial parece haber sido desaprovechado, evidenciando una falta de renovación y mejora continua que transmite una sensación de conformismo.
La ubicación es perfecta, se puede ir caminando a la playa. La vista desde la habitación hermosa! La comida estaba deliciosa 🫶🏻

Todo estuvo muy bien, excelente experiencia que volvería a repetir.
Es un hermoso ecolodge para descansar y disfrutar de buen servicio, con bellas vistas, deliciosa comida y comfort. Cerca de la hermosa playa Los Frailes y con una tranquila playa a pocos minutos para relajantes caminatas por la mañana. El desayuno fue excelente! Definitivamente volveré con familia en una siguiente oportunidad.

I love Azuluna, it is a very peaceful and beautiful place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have tried large rooms with my family and individual suites for work and they always fulfill my expectations. Their workers are friendly and the food is delicious.

Ni agua caliente tenia para la ducha, uno de los peores estancias que nunca estuvimos
Las cabañas son limpias y el administrador nos atendió bien, nos permitió tener las maletas y ducharnos incluso cuando ya paso la hora del checkout, muy gentil.
Al llegar a la ubicación registrada en booking no era el lugar, tras los cual llamamos al teléfono de contacto y no respondieron si no después de 5min, en donde finalmente nos enviaron la ubicación real por whatsapp, este lapso nos hizo pasar un momento de incertidumbre, despues de eso fue agradable la estancia.

Honestly, it was incredibly disappointing. The property is gravely misrepresented online. It it is run down, old, and broken down. As a family with children, there were broken railings and holes in the railings. It was scary. The rooms were filled with mildew and smelled really musty. It was hard to sleep at night with the smell. The furniture was dilapidated & figures had raw wires or bulbs exposed. It used to be nice one day but has not been maintained. There needs to be serious mold mitigation with the strength of the smell. The lighting was not sufficient for safety at night & we had to find the walkway light on our own. There was a lack of service mentality. The check-in staff was not there when we showed up, and the Reception was locked up (same as in the morning) and there was animal droppings all over the front porch that had not even been cleaned up. We had a group with us, and this was their first stay in the Country and I was deeply embarrassed that I brought them to this property. The hot water did not work either in the sink or the shower. We had to go ask for air conditioning remotes, and the air conditioner was spotty at best. But my biggest concern with children was the safety aspect & the high & significant level of disrepair. The reception staff was not proactive in being helpful or supportive. We had to ask for help.

One of my favorite hostels in Ecuador! I was originally going to stay for 2 days but kept extending because I loved it so much. I had a private room and it was clean and comfy, the view of the ocean was beautiful, and the shower got really hot! Great location, I was the only guest there and enjoyed the calm and tranquility. Great value To catch the coastal bus to ayampe, olon, and surrounding areas you just wait on the side of the road and the bus will take you there.
Reception was closed and because of that I couldn’t get filtered water and had to buy it every day. There is a kitchen but I don’t think it’s for guest use. There were some black ants in the room but I think this is normal due to the location of the hostel and it being an ecolodge.
