Pros:

Seinem Namen "Schöne Aussicht" wird dieses großzügige Haus mehr als gerecht. Der Blick über den oberen Teil des Lago Maggiore, über die Dächer der Altstadt Locarnos hinüber nach Ascona, auf den Höhenzug um den Monte Tamaro macht diesen Ort für tageweise, aber auch längere Aufenthalte außerordentlich angenehm. Binnen weniger Minuten läßt sich die Altstadt erreichen, die Piazza Grande lädt zum Verweilen ein. Alle Täler im Umfeld (Centovalli, Onsernone mit Vergeletto, Maggia, Verzasca) sind per Bus oder Auto rasch erreicht.
Die großzügigen, modern ausgestatteten Zimmer, das reichhaltige Frühstück auf der Terrasse um den achteckigen Brunnen, der Wellnessbereich, die eigene Station der Standseilbahn tragen zum exzellenten Eindruck bei. Der entstünde freilich nicht ohne die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter des Hauses. Sie verstehen es, selbst einem langjährigen und regelmäßigen Gast den Eindruck zu vermitteln, er sei das erste und einzige Mal im Haus. Aufmerksam, beweglich, fernab eines bloß eingeübten Verhaltens sind die Damen und Herren des Service zur Stelle, sprechen ihre Gäste mit Namen an, kleiden ihr Wissen allmorgendlich in eine aufmerksame Frage: "Un thè nero?"
Fragen beantworten sie stets zugewandt, sachkundig. Für den Wanderer eine vorzügliche Einrichtung: die Lavanderia. Die Damen waschen, bügeln, reinigen verschwitzte Kleidung zügig. Dieser Service ist ungemein wertvoll.
Das Haus und seine Menschen haben mich bei meinem zweiten Aufenthalt in diesem Jahr einmal mehr überzeugt.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. SPA, Pool, Gym, Liegewiesen sind top. Auch für E-Bikes ist das Hotel bestens ausgerüstet. Schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer. Zentral und doch ruhig gelegen.

Accueil (même un peu difficile comme francophone), propreté, chambre avec installation et vue, restaurant et son service/personnel!

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Die Junior-Suite ist großzügig. Die ganze Anlage ist etwas älter, aber gut unterhalten und sanft renoviert.

Cons:

Die Seesicht ist nur partiell und dürfte auch nicht anders benannt werden. Siehe Foto vom Balkon aus.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff.
The Spa is really relaxing and great.

Cons:

I had mentioned that it is our first time and I usually receive from 4 star hotels a bottle of wine or prosecco as welcoming, this hotel didn't do anything special for a first time.
In the bath, there was no hair shampoo nor hair conditioner, this is always available in 4 star Hotels.

Séjour en famille très agréable et super ptit dej
Pros:

La piscine et les transats
Les enfants sont les bienvenus ainsi qu’à la piscine(créneaux autorisés).
Le jardin et le petit grotto
Le lit est très confortable
L’endroit est très calme
Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié
Machine à café dans la chambre et petit chocolat offert chaque jour.

Cons:

Les chambres sont un peu vieillotte.
