Dieses Hotel kann ich nur empfehlen.Ich komme bestimmt wieder.
Pros:

Sehr grosszügiges Zimmer mit einer tollen Aussicht und einer grossen Gartenanlage.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielseitig und gut.

Sehr elegantes, schönes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel oberhalb Locarno
Pros:

Sehr schönes und ideal gelegenes, gehobeneres Hotel 10 Minuten von der Piazza Grande entfernt. Wunderschöner Garten und sehr angenehme Zimmer. Super Frühstück. Hotel liegt direkt unter der Madonna del Sasso und hat eine Haltestelle der Funicolare.

Cons:

Für ein 4 Stern Hotel wäre es nett gewesen im Voraus informiert zu werden, dass der Parkplatz kostenpflichtig ist und nicht erst beim Check Out. Das ist aber das einzig Negative.

Luxury hotel in a magnificent setting with an unparalleled view of Locarno.
Pros:

Great room, beautiful setting and location. Easy access to city and funicular.

Cons:

Restaurant service somewhat confused and a bit pretentious . Food was good however.

Amazing
Pros:

I loved the whole hotel, the room, the restaurant, the pool, everything. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. We casually talked by check in and told them I had birthday and on check out they gave me a gift! That was an amazing gesture!

Grand Hotel mit moderner Atmosphäre
Pros:

Das Belvedere steht optisch und atmosphärisch in der Tradition der europäischen Grand Hotels. Dir Räumlichkeiten sind jedoch modern ausgestaltet. Die miteinander verbundenen Gebäudeflügel wirken großzügig, die Einrichtung ansprechend, ohne dabei nüchtern oder gar seelenlos zu wirken.
Schon beim Betreten empfangen den Gast zugewandte, freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen im Foyer. Das setzt sich fort beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen, bei der Pflege der Räume: Die dienstbaren Geister sind präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, stets sachkundig hilfsbereit. Nachwuchskräfte wachsen in ein gutes erfahrenes Umfeld hinein, stehen in der Tradition und entwickeln sie fort.
Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terrasse stimmen auf den Tag ein und beschließen ihn entspannt. Für Urlauber ein idealer Ort.
Außerordentlich vorteilhaft für Wanderer oder Radsportler: Das Haus verfügt über eine exzellente Wäscherei. Sehr hilfreich ebenfalls der Fahrservice zum Bahnhof.
Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig: frische Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Eier, Obst und - für mich besonders wichtig - frisch zubereiteter Tee von vorzüglicher Qualität.
In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß, per Auto oder per Standseilbahn das Centro storico sowie Bahnhof und Bushaltestellen. Die Seilbahnen auf den Cimetta sind ebenfalls direkt zu erreichen. Für Wander- und Fahrradurlaube ideal, aber auch für Tagungen und Kongresse.

Erholung PUR
Pros:

Die Lage und die Hotelanlage ist Traumhaft. Man hat draussen wie auch drinnen Parkmöglichkeiten mit denen mann direkt in die verschiedenen Zimmerträkte gelangt. Der Garten mit grossem Schachbrett und der Grotto sind wundervoll. Der Wellnesbereich ist ein Traum. Und die Massagen echt ein MUSS. Nach der Massage wurde sich per Telefonanruf vergewissert ob die Massage erholsam ist und alles in Ordnung sei. Ich kann allgemein von der Region Locarno/Ascona behaupten dass die Leute sehr sehr freundlich sind. Wie will man anders an solch einem Ort.

Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und extrem angenehm und symphatisch. Das Hotel hat eine wundervolle Lobby und sehr schöne Zimmer. Da meine Frau und ich über den Hochzeitstag da waren hat man uns sogar eine Flasche zum anstossen mit Eis bereitgestellt. Wir konnten ausserdem mehr als pünktlich einchecken. Wer an diesem Frühstücksbuffet nichts findet, dem kann man nicht mehr helfen. Pancakes, Waffeln, frische Früchte, Müsli, Bacon, Rührei , 5 minuten Eier, direkt auf Wunsch zubereitete Omlets, Spiegeleier wären wahrscheindlich auch möglich gewesen, Brötchen, Gipfeli Toast und vieles mehr. .

Auch wenn man in der letzten halben Stunde in welcher das Buffet offen ist Frühstückt findet man ALLES noch prall gefüllt vor. Das Rührei war ein Traum.

Am ersten Abend haben wir ebenfalls im Hotel gegessen und das Chateaubriand genossen. Wir konnten nicht genug davon kriegen. Die Sauce-Béarnaise war der Himmel auf erden und die Bratensauce perfekt.

In 2. Gängen serviert perfekt wie bestellt. Überraschenderweise musste bei mir sogar mal das Gemüse daran glauben.

Grosses Lob an diese Küche.

Direkt neben dem Hotel findet man die Funicolare (Standseilbahn) mit welcher man entweder in die Stadt oder weiter hoch zur Madonna del Sasso Kirche oder zur Gondelbahn gelangt. Eine Station weiter oben angekommen grlangt man innerhalb 150m zur Aussichtsplattform bei welcher man den Lagio Maggiore auf der Adcona seite betrachten kann.
