Pros:

È un hotel che consiglio vivamente. Il personale è gentilissimo, attento e segue con discrezione ogni fase della permanenza. Si dorme benissimo, zona vicino al centro ma molto silenziosa Colazione speciale con ogni ben di Dio. Porgo i miei complimenti a tutte le persone che contribuiscono, con il loro lavoro, passione e impegno, a rendere questo posto così bello.

The worst experience of my life.
Pros:

I made the big mistake of bringing two groups to this hotel. — one of 63 people in May and another of 52 people in June—and the experience was terrible. I will never take a group to this hotel again, and I recommend that you look for another hotel; there are other very good options with similar rates and a higher level of professionalism.

For the June group, I called them to explain that we would arrive late because the bus we were traveling on had broken down, and in total we had to wait 6 hours for a new bus to arrive. When I spoke with them, they confirmed that we could have a cold dinner at 10:00 or 10:30 p.m., which was the time I had specified.

After confirming this with me, they called the bus driver, spoke with him, and decided to have dinner prepared at 9:00 p.m.—all without consulting me, calling me to explain the decision Giovanni had made without my consent, or at least sending me an email. And the worst part is that they had already confirmed over the phone that we would be having a cold dinner.

Giovanni did whatever he wanted, without caring about what he had already agreed to with me. I explained to him that we were on a pilgrimage and that for this type of group, the spiritual context is the most important thing, and because of that, the group wanted to attend the torchlight procession. He told me that he didn’t care—that the church was always there—and if the group wanted to go to the procession instead of having dinner, that was their problem. I was taken aback—this is the first time I’ve arranged for a cold dinner with a hotel and the owner does whatever he wants. Giovanni even had the audacity to tell my group of 52 people that if they didn’t stay there again, he didn’t care. He must have plenty of other guests to spare to speak that way.

In short, Giovanni is the most arrogant person I’ve ever had to deal with at a hotel—disregarding the decision of a group that’s paying, just because he didn’t feel like it. It was a completely irrational and irresponsible act; he left the group without dinner, even though we had already paid for dinner for 52 people, just because he didn’t want to.

It’s very unfortunate to have to deal with people like that; I’ll never come back here again.
