A bit short of expectations.
Pros:

The breakfast reminded us of Fawlty Towers. It took 20 minutes for cup of tea to arrive (only 1 choice of tea, or house coffee), and 30 minutes for the food to arrive, which came without knives or forks. There were forks in the middle of the dining room to use, but to get a knife we had to ask the staff, and wait another 5 minutes for them to bring a knife. The food itself was nice though.

Cons:

I would have appreciated having a light & light switch in the bathroom.
The room itself was nicely furnished, and it's quite OK as a place to stay, as long as you don't want to spend too much time in the room.

The staff were fantastic, the meals were amazing other than the lack of maintenance we enjoyed our stay

Overall, very good accomodation with good food and drink on-site. Fantastic location. Solid 3 stars.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was very good. Had dinner there as well which was also good. Saw bad reviews for this hotel so was a little worried - but the rooms were spacious and clean and well appointed. Clear effort into presentation and cleaning. Staff were nice - young, but well presented and helpful. This hotel is much, much better than the reviews indicate - which, to me, means they must have really responded and are making a clear effort.

Cons:

The wifi was just really bad - and the TV runs off streaming channels only. So that wasn't ideal - and was the only let-down.

Great location close to trains, buses and shops in the city.
Pros:

The location was the main draw for me as the hotel was on the Cat bus route going to the hospital. The decor of the room was elegant….like being transported in a past era. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was stylish and huge for wheelchair access.

Cons:

Minor stuff:
To keep sustainable, the hotel offers a sign the guest can put on the door handle before 2am to not make the room and the guest should get a free drink or something. I am all for it but if you advertise an incentive for doing so, then follow through. I wasn’t offered the free drink. I don’t mind not getting the drink, but the hotel shouldn’t advertise that if the staff are not following up on this initiative.
The shower head was just resting on the tap (the hook that it would normally sits on was too night on the wall for me to reach), so I had to wash myself with one hand while holding the shower head in the other.
There wasn’t enough room on the sink vanity to put my toiletries.
There was no soap dish on the wall so I had to leave the soap on the sink and every time I needed it during my shower, I have to move to the sink to get my soap. Or I could have put the soap on the floor but didn’t want to accidentally slip on it.
The fan in the bathroom was constantly on even when the lights are off. And since there was no bathroom door, I couldn’t cut out the noise. This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Nevertheless, those negatives are superficial and could be easily fixed by the hotel. These didn’t take away from my positive stay at the hotel.

This is my first time writing a review, but I was truly disappointed by the service.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. When I asked for an invoice at check-out, I was told to request it by email instead.

I followed their instructions and sent an email requesting the invoice. I also submitted multiple requests through this website, but none of them have received any response.

I am honestly shocked by how poor the service has been. Ignoring a guest’s repeated requests is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to be a four-star property.

I would not recommend this hotel for business travelers.
