Good location, inadequate accommodation
Pros:

Narrow menu but nourishing single serve breakfast

Cons:

This hotel appears to be either in the process of an upgrade or is in a time warp. The interiors are eclectic, confused and the whole property with its add-on accommodation appears to have had an inhouse interior designer. The bedroom was large enough and the bathroom renovated but from an aesthetic perspective needs serious attention. The carpets and furniture were not clean and without a balcony or unobstructed windows was not enticing.

Old world charm good for business drop-ins.
Pros:

Old world charm, clean and easy to access. A great stop for business in Perth.

Cons:

Choose a room that does not face St George’s terrace since the blinds are not blackout and the street advertising on the terrace is very bright. Staff on the phone were lovely, otherwise totally absent.

Great location, Beautiful Hotel, So-So staff
Pros:

The building itself is beautiful, heritage listed and so different from other stays in the City that have no soul, great location for exploring and close to bars, restaurants, activities. The bathroom was very pretty, and always appreciate a hotel that gives cold water without having to pay for it. The staff member - who silly me, I didnt get her name - a northern English lady was absolutely fabulous. We also had the Bottomless Brunch at the venue and the food and drinks were great.

Cons:

The rooms was worn down, which can be expected from an older hotel, but could use a refresh for sure. The beginning of our Bottomless Brunch experience was all over the place, very unorganised, and we felt very unsettled, some staff members were pretty rude about the whole situation, could tell they were stressed out. The limited menu for hotel guests for the breakfast menu was disappointing but food was reasonably good. The check in process at the bar is a little strange, I felt guilty for pulling a staff member from their bar duties during a rush period just to check in.

Best place to stay in CBD
Pros:

Beautiful colonial style rooms, huge bathroom and tub, very comfortable beds and pillows, timley room service and delicious complimentary breakfast. Even though it is situated on one of the busiest streets in the CBD, we had no disturbance while sleeping. I'll be referring this hotel to anyone visiting Perth CBD. Very very impressive service, folks!

Epic staff. Amazing bathroom. Very quirky and unique
Pros:

Perfect! Value for money, and a great complimentary breakfast.

Cons:

The only thing I had trouble with was finding it. I didn’t realise it was at the pumping pub and looked behind it because of where the numbers were.

Perth City Old World Charm
Pros:

The location is great, and the hotel has a nice 'classic' turn-of-the-century decor. I ate at the hotel restaurant one night and enjoyed the food and thought it was reasonably priced for Perth.

Cons:

The hotel is older and in need of some light maintenance in places.

Use to be a great hotel.
Pros:

The room.was lovely looks great.

Cons:

The bed posts are very loose and almost falling off. The power points next to the beds are hidden behind cupboards. The bathtub hadn't been cleaned had hair in it. And water was brownish after filling. The shower tap was dripping all night from where the handheld hose had been removed. The path going to the night door had rubbish at the door and as im on crutches I nearly slipped over on it. We weren't informed about what to do for breakfast the next morning. Or that we had to pay for our drinks, very small selection for breakfast. No cereal or toast.

Heritage building. Large bathroom with deep bath. Nice touches like the chandeliers

Cons:

No place to charge phone next to bed. Nowhere to put toiletries handy for when you’re in the bath like a little portable stand or something.

Good location, really good food, and the bed was so comfortable. One of the best bathrooms ive ever had in a room or apartment. Staff were very friendly
