Localisation idéale, lit confortable, personnel très gentils et serviable!
Déçue juste pour la salle de bain ... débit d'eau très faible.
Ne pas prendre coté rue car très bruyant.

Hôtel convenable confortable et propre, bien situé,juste un peut bruyant a cause de son emplacement casi centre ville.personnel a l'écoute simpas.

Accueil tres agreable, sympathique et professionnel. Hotel agreable, propre, buffet correct. Seul petit bemol le wifi qui est faible. Emplacement tres bien car proche des commerces, du metro.

Samir on aivan ydinkeskustassa kaikkien palvelujen keskellä. Erityiskiitos vastaaoton henkilökunnalle jonka avuliaisuus ja asiantuntemus teki oleskelusta helppoa ja viihtyisää.
Hotelli näyttää vaatimattomalta mutta huoneet ovat siistit, hyvä sänky, lämmitys talvella ja päivittäinen siivous.
Aamiainen tyypillinen melko vaatimaton ja ranskalaisvailutteinen mutta silti riittävä.
Suosittelen, mutta hissin puuttumisen vuoksi paljon portaita.

I booked this hotel via Booking.com a few days before my trip here, thinking that the cheaper price would benefit my budget. The plan was to stay for 10 nights.

Upon arrival, I was told that my credit card was declined, which is weird because my card was good. Called my card company quite a few times and was assured that there was nothing wrong with my card.

My room was on the 4th floor - the top floor - with no elevator. The winding staircase is quite tall (see photo) so it was very difficult to walk up & down, with or without luggage. My room left much to be desired also - the toilet seat was broken, the shower was somewhat substandard so I didn’t even try using it, and the bed was uncomfortable.

After 2 nights of going back & forth with hotel staff about my credit card and THEN being told that the hotel only takes cash, being informed that the hotel doesn’t have a credit card machine despite that being advertised as an amenity on Booking.com, and finding out that there’s no elevator despite an elevator being advertised as an amenity on Booking.com, I left and booked myself at a more expensive but better hotel. I stayed at the better hotel for the rest of my stay.

If you want to save money, feel free to stay here. But if you want comfort and proper amenities, don’t bother.

Hotel is in really good location, in the center of the city, walking distance to Casaba. Rooms are cleaned every day, not sparkling clean but OK. Service is good, at the reception they speak good English, and they promptly solve any wishes you might have. Breakfast is rather simple (coffee, juice, croissant and a bread spread). Also, there is no elevator, but I find this positive for having some exercise every day.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a night - super cheap and the staff was beyond helpful to us. The rooms are parisian but simple, and apart from some electricity breaks I really enjoyed this place. Aesthetically the tiles and spiral staircase were a plus of course, and it is situated in the very centre of Algiers. Would stay here if I went back again.

I stayed at the Samir for 3 days. Basic 3 star hotel on main drag in Algiers. Clean and near many restaurants, businesses. Casbah and harbor about 20 min walk. I was on the 3rd floor facing an alley. 3rd floor is 4 flights up stairs. So get ready to exercise!!! No lift. But no problem for the value. A good deal.

very good location in the heart of Algiers, the hotel is a french building which is charming, but theres no lift if you have a room on the 5th floor, very basic rooms, the street has a lot of restaurants and shopping

This is the most affordable hotel that I could book online, which I had to in order to apply for my visa. Was pleasantly surprised by the fairly central location, but a little disappointed by the interior. Balcony offers good views of the atmospheric street but trade-off is the traffic noise. Wifi was not always reliable. Breakfast was sad. Staff were mostly friendly.

Perfect location. A bit rundown. Some rooms are better than others. Ok breakfast. Firendly staff who likes to make money. Dinars can be changed at hotel for reasonable rate. Better rates are offered in selected stores in Rue Didouche Mourad but you have to know which ones (ask around - hotel will not tell you since it affects their own business). Nice balconies. Wifi works in restuarant and only sometimes in rooms. Not many midrange value hotels in Algiers (much better in other algerian towns) - cheaper and better midrange options can be found by walking around - but some of these cannot be booked online. Not a bad option.

Great Hotel, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Great location in the vibrant heart of Algiers, near to all the attractions of this marvelous city. Best choice. Missing QIBLA indications in the room and pryer carpets. Should be added

Hotel Samir,
This "hotel" is a real no go.
The write that they have a restaurant and there is non.
The rooms are too dirty to speak about, the bathroom was even dirtier.
It it very noisy and old.
The breakfast is a piece of bread a croissant and a coffee nothing esle.
Wifi is in the room but very slow
