Breathtaking views and a marvelous indoor pool
Pros:

This is a fabulously well-run hotel. The reception was professional and informative. Hotel Altein is an easy walk from the Bahnhof and there are also buses and taxis if needed. The room we had was a double, 514, which had a gorgeous balcony that overlooked the entire panorama of the Arosa mountains. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was very good, and the coffee machine in the room provided excellent coffee. We neither went to the bar nor the restaurant. The indoor pool was absolutely a gem and one of the reasons I will return to this wonderful hotel.

Würde es niemandem empfehlen. Es war nichts wirklich schlecht - aber auch nichts wirklich gut.
Pros:

Die Lage und der Balkon waren gut für meine Bedürfnisse.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war super klein! Das SPA verdient den Namen nicht. Sauna super klein und nicht gepflegt. Das Holz sieht unhygienisch aus. Das Dampfbad ist völlig überparfumiert.

Das Hotel ist ansprechend, es ist alles top-sauber.

Das Hotel ist ansprechend, alles sehr minimalistisch und modern bis auf die unteren Bereiche, Wellness etc. sind noch vom früheren Hotel und haben gerade deshalb Charme. Dieser Charme ging mit der Modernisierung etwas verloren - leider. Mühsam: Im Lift muss die Hotelkarte jedes mal an den Scanner gehalten werden, beim Frühstück fragt die Dame mehrmals (3x) nach der Zimmernummer, sie steht unglücklich genau dort, wo man vom Buffet wieder zum Frühstücksraum gehen soll. Das Frühstück ist wie das ganze Hotel, schlicht, ohne Extras. Keine Pancakes, keine lokalen Konfitüren oder Kuchen. Der Kaffee muss bei 340 Fr. / Nacht im Doppelzimmer selber am Automaten rausgelassen werden. Bei Nachfrage beim Kellner wird auf den Automaten verwiesen, keine Möglichkeit einen richtigen Kaffee zu geniessen. Wir wählen beim nächsten Mal ein Hotel mit mehr Charme und Persönlichkeit.

Tolles Hotel an bester ruhiger Lage. Zimmer mit toller Aussicht in die schöne Bergwelt um Arosa.
Das reichhaltige Frühstück gibt ausreichend Energie für den Tag.

Cons:

Gerne hätte ich um eine weitere Nacht verlängert.
Die Preise im Hotel waren allerdings um 40% höher als auf den gängigen Buchungsplattformen.
Auschecken und am Nachmittag wieder Einchecken war mir doch zu mühsam. Schade!
