Pros:

it was decent and the service is good but the hotel is a bit old n our room kind of a lot of dust. it is clean but some area are dusty. some of the furniture and wooden floor in the room are looking old. it is price expensive due to the location only. the breakfast has a lot of variety of drinks but food choice still a bit limited.

Fine for a short city stay. Better options available.

It was conveniently located and reasonably priced

Cons:

Our room smelled damp and it took a long time for service at the bar and restaurant.
The design of the hotel is unusual and in all honestly totally inefficient. You have to take a lift to the lobby on the 38th floor then take another lift to access guest rooms.

Great location, but unfortunately not a five-star experience and not a hotel I would choose again.
Pros:

The only real advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. I would also like to recognize the concierge, bellmen, and luggage assistance team, who were welcoming, professional, and by far the best part of the experience.

Cons:

This hotel does not meet the standards expected of a five-star property. The cleanliness was disappointing, and the furniture is outdated and shows clear signs of wear. The towels were among the worst I have ever encountered despite staying at many hotels around the world—they were in such poor condition that we chose not to use them. The reception staff were not welcoming and gave the impression that they were unhappy to be there, which created a poor first impression. Overall, the hotel offers poor value for the price, and apart from its location, I found very little that reflects a true five-star experience. I genuinely believe this property should be re-evaluated and its star rating reconsidered.

Only 14 years old and it feels neglected. Smelly pillows, creaky doors and slamming doors.
Pros:

Was in KL to attend a tradeshow in the area and hence the location was a no brainer. My usual go to hotel was booked out so I thought I gave Grand Hyatt a try. Great location and its neighbors collectively offers some of the best luxury offerings.

Cons:

14 years since its opening, and the maintenance is becoming a challenge. Creaky doors, bad sound proofing, doors slamming (no one adjusted the door closer springs) and knowing when your "neighbours" are going out (or come back) as the doors slams does not make for good rest, especially during tradeshow season. Grand Hyatt should really consider hiring a capable maintenance officer to overlook this beautiful property before arrogance and ignorance tears the place down. Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, even Pullman hotel is giving GHKL a run for its money. Until the room maintenance is kept up, and housekeeping rid of the smells in the pillows, it is difficult to consider returning to Grand Hyatt. What a damn shame.
