Howard Johnson IFC Plaza Ningbo

hotel is extremely good and facilities is top class. we stayed there for one day. hotel is very neat and clean. breakfast is good and we had a lunch there as well. it was ok, as we are not used to traditional chinese food.

This hotel was such a disappointment to me. The hotel delivers all it promises, nice rooms, good breakfast a decent reception but an awful location if like me you are not in finance. If you have any spare time, there is no where to walk and nothing to do. It is in the financial district and near nothing other than banks and finance houses. I didn't know the city and there was no help from reception. Oh the cleaning staff are not up to scratch and don't wash dirty cups. I did not have a happy time in this hotel.

I stayed here for three nights and the hotel has given me a good impression. The location is good — about 0.3 mils (500 meters) from the Ningbo train station, where you can get buses and subway. It is close to the Moon Lake and TianYiGe. If you enjoy walking, it is about one mile from the major attractions in the city center. There are not many restaurants next to the hotel, except a small cafe in the North. However, if you go to MaYuan Road, there are quite several restaurants. The wifi works well and the staff are friendly.

I would 100% recommend this place, when I next return to Ningbo I will be staying here again!

Overal experience is good. Service, hardwardware, breakfast, environment can meet expectation. Though the hotel is not very new, maintenance is good and everything is still up to expectation.

Good value-for-money as the rooms are huge, comfortable and very luxurious for the price paid. This is my second time here and a good choice if you happen to be around the financial district. The breakfast to me is nothing special - your typical chinese and continental breakfast fare, but it fills the belly.

accpetable hotel in the new commercial disctrict, a little dispointed in the service levels compared to other howard johnsons that i have stayed at in Ningbo

This 5 star hotel in the economic district of Ningbo is really a good value for money. The price is fair as the hotel facilities are top quality standard.

The rooms on the 15th flior are big with a good view of the district. The heating / cooling system works perfectly.

The breakfast has one of the widest varieties I have seen in the country. Wok station, frech part with waffels, cereals, sushi, etc.

Staff is really helpful and friendly and they have a gym on the 18th floor which is really good. They have several running machines, eliptical ones, weights and muscular machines.

Never expect a hotel so established and spacious for business traveller. When i was there, this foreign dance troupe also staying in same hotel. Everyone in the troupe seems to rave about the room size, service & hospitality. Me too! The room was simply luxurious, bed was good, bathroom is superd welcoming! Moreover, we got very good rates by booking online!

I received the same high standard of personal service at the Howard Johnson IFC Plaza. Hospitality is great as is the attentiveness of all staff. However, the Business Centre only consists of a single PC with Chinese language software. I remember there was a time when the Business Centre actually had multiple PC's with English software. I was unable to print or use the Business Centre and actually went to the Pan Pacific Hotel only 500yards down the street. The curious thing was that a list of services was printed in both English and Chinese with pricing. Yet, it is impossible to use the English language service. Since no such service is actually provided for English-speaking guests, the management may want to remove any reference to a Business Centre as it creates a false impression. In future, I know to use the Pan Pacific Hotel for any of my Business Centre needs.

After intensive working day, need a rest in a peaceful and customer dedicated hotel ? Here is the place for you in Ningbo. You can enjoy a peaceful and well optimized room with high level of comfort. The bed is very nice. After finishing few business, you can sleep without any noise and enjoy the fantastic breakfast buffet to restart again a good day. Congratulations.

Full service hotel, this Howard Johnson was very nice. The room was spacious and clean, with a great shower. The hotel had 2-3 dining options and a good breakfast buffet. Also, was very reasonably priced for the level of hotel.

I have stayed at the Howard Johnson IFC Plaza since 2012. This was my sixth trip to Ningbo, this year. With one exception, when the Howard Johnson IFC Plaza was overbooked, I have always stayed at the Howard Johnson. I have found the Howard Johnson to be consistent in its quality of service. The staff are attentive and quite often, they go out of there way to provide quality service.

Stayed most of my time in Ningbo. My regular Hotel. Service is great and staff are friendly.

I had heard from another American that the Howard Johnson's IFC plaza was the best hotel in Ningbo, and certainly it was very nice. The rooms were big, beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice and big as well. There was even an iron and ironing board which I put to good use. The gym was small but nicely equipped and I made good use of that as well.

I like Chinese noodles for breakfast, and they did not disappoint. And the price was amazing! If you want to stay in a comfortable hotel in Ningbo this is a good choice.

Business night in Ningbo, normal hotel little to far from train station and airport. But it fulfilled it purpose.
