Luxe Avenue Hotel

The hotel is decent, but perhaps overpriced for what you are getting. It is generally clean, but not very clean. Please note that there are two nightclubs inside the hotel - one Filipino and the other Thai. (The neighborhood around the hotel is full of Filipino, Thai, Nepalese, Pakistani and other Asian workers who drive the economy in Dubai.) While generally sound proof, you can hear still hear some music thumping late into the night. They close at 4am. So if you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. There is lots of good, inexpensive shopping nearby, but for the brand names, you need to go to the malls. There is a 24 hour grocery store a few meters from the hotel. Note that there are no microwaves in the rooms and the hotel will not allow you to heat up food in any of the restaurants. Dubai Mall (and Burj Kalifa) is about a 10 minute cab ride. Dubai Marina as well. Airport took less than 15 minutes. Walking to the nearest metro stop (Max Fashion) is feasible, but is about a mile away, so I generally took an Uber or Bolt taxi. The staff is friendly. The area around the hotel is very safe. Everywhere is safe in Dubai.

Great spot with good bus service to the DIFC. Interesting area.

1st room I check into has a toliet leaking fluid that looks like sewage
2nd room I check into also has a malfunctioning toilet - three pumps to flush once
Around the hotel feels like a Dodgy area, a lot of homeless like/loitering individuals.
I found a dead bug in my bed.

And the duzzy CON - NOISE at night.
There is a night club on the 1st floor that goes 9 PM - 2 AM Monday to Tuesday , till 4AM on Wednesday to Thur and weekends! From start at 9pm till 2 AM (to 4 AM nights) you can hear and feel the music while in your room/bed. Absolute torcher when you’re trying to rest for an early start.
The hotel has 7 floors, lobby is on floor 0.

Poor hotel old style nothing working in my room ..they change the safety box the AC stop working 30 min till they fix it it was terrible trip

Despite all good services offed to us, we could not enjoy these because of our shorty stay in Dubai.

I've stayed here a few times but it was better when it was managed by Rydges. Chelsea have spoilt it, especially the bars and pool area. They have put a massive screen for sports channels by the swimming pool. Also, the noise from the nightclub goes on well into the night.

Room was ok, not the best but the staff is full or shot, wasnt ben trying to help us. The night club is heard till the highest floor. Oh on a freaking wednesday, we werent advised about this loud ass music, not even apologies, the AC WAS NOT WORKING!!! WE’RE IN DUBAK, you know how hot it is in there????? And i ask for new room and they said no, no Fan to atleast sub for the AC. Nothing. Its a horrible stay.

Chelsea hotel is very accommodating, the staff are very nice. And i have nothing to say but Good 😊

Dirty spots in the room, and it is just not possible to sleep without ear plugs because of 2 clubs on ground floor and two clubs on top floor making party until 3am ever morning

Stayed for one night .. the internet connection was really bad

The photos posted are very misleading. The room was very dated and not well maintained. The shower had mildew growing in it. The walls were dirty, and the bathroom cabinet had something growing in there as well. Loud music from the club downstrairs played pretty much all night. Lighting in the room was very dim.

Given the price paid this property represents great value for money. I arrived late 2am and it was close to the airport and had everything I needed for a one night stay. Good selection of bars and nightclubs too. Would stay again for a short stay given the great price.

Rooms are cleaned every day, smells very nice.
