Pros:

This is a great hotel for getting to restaurants and bars and walking to the beach
the negatives were the rear of the hotel needs attention the garden was overgrown and dirty as you walk through it to get to the pool which was dirty
the bathrooms were from the 18th century and the bed linen was dirty even difficult to get new towels everyday
my friends room was without hot water for the entire 4 night stay the hotel could not fix the issue and did nothing to change his room or apply priority to the issue very laid back appproach
overall a great hotel for location only but the actual building is rather poor the only nice part of the building was the reception rest very poor

excellent location for the candolim area- ptoperty is dated but still well maintained staff all around were also very helpful in their duties.

Goa Godwin a Disastrous Experience
Pros:

The hotel was not clean, food was not best quality and service very poor. The hotel didn’t allow me to cancel while they had been oversold so they made sure and took my money and rented the room at a higher cost. Thus was clear as the front desk person made sure I didn’t cancel online s also it was impossible to get online at hotel.com to make any changes
