I am definitely disappointed because of the unnecessary money spent on the other room.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we appreciated the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

However, during the booking process, Booking.com required us to book two rooms for three guests. After our stay, we felt that one room would have been sufficient for our family, and the second room was not used at all. This resulted in unnecessary extra costs.

I would suggest improving the room allocation and booking recommendations so that customers are not encouraged to book more rooms than needed. This would help avoid unnecessary expenses and provide a better booking experience overall

Stay at New York hotel.
Pros:

Room was big. Location good. Staff friendly. Good breakfast spread

Cons:

Mattress was not comfortable. Duvet was bad. Towel had a hole in it. No toilet roll holder.

Dear Booking.com Support,

I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent booking experience.

Your platform strongly indicated that I needed to book two rooms for 2 adults, 1 child (5 years old), and 1 infant. Based on this guidance, I proceeded with two room reservations and paid accordingly.

However, upon arrival, the hotel front desk confirmed that a single room was fully sufficient to accommodate our family and that the second room was unnecessary. As a result, the additional room remained completely unused, causing me a significant and avoidable financial loss.

This experience has left me extremely disappointed. The booking recommendation provided on your platform was misleading and resulted in an unnecessary double payment. Had the booking requirements been presented accurately, I would never have reserved the second room.

I respectfully request a full refund for the unused room or an appropriate reimbursement as a goodwill gesture. I also request that this issue be investigated to prevent other customers from facing similar situations due to incorrect or misleading booking recommendations.

I have followed up multiple times but have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter.
