IHG should be ashamed to have this hotel as part of their system. Several items were either missing or in discrepancy to their standing policy.
1. English is well understood through a phone translator, Otherside, forget it.
2. Room Service is only offered between 5:30 to 9:30 pm and has to be ordered 12 hours in advance.
3. Of the five items they have available on the menu for a main course, two of them are not available. Of the three desserts, nothing is available.
4. Of the 13 English speaking channels on the TV, none of them are available. Unless you speak Chinese, there is nothing, including news, available.
5. Internet service is spotty at best.
If you are American or European, find somewhere else to stay that has better rates and access to more than just a bed.

This hotel is inside the city center and we really enjoy the location. Around the hotel lakes and shops and parks are there. City was awesome. Staff are good and they upgraded my room for free and it was really convenient and helpful
Personnel who worked at check-in counter used very good English and very kind.

No AC! It was centrally controlled and setup at 30 degree! I wake up sweating every hour!
Staff at the hotel are helpful and friendly. the room and toilet is clean and the bed is quite comfortable. Location is good with many convenient shops and restaurants to visit.
The gym is not well ventilated.
Very nice hotel for foreigners
It was my approx. 12th stay in the past 6 years in this hotel.Rooms needs to be refurbished, Mould in the bathroom everywhere. WIFI incredible slow. Its not an actual standard of a 4 Star hotel. Breakfast, almost all food cold (noodle, egg, vegetable) Before, this hotel was pretty good but now the quality reduced drastically. Meanwhile there are more better hotels abvailable in Taicang. And more reasonable.
