Would rather driver an extra 100kms and skip a stay here! Never Again!!

Its proximity to the N3 as we were travelling home from CTown.

Cons:

It was nowhere near what we expected for the price of our room!! Unfortunately because it wasn’t an inexpensive overnight stay we failed to check the reviews and that was our very expensive mistake unfortunately! The room for the price is small and stuffy! The aircon in the room was so loud one couldn’t use it, the bedside light wasn’t working, the pillows were so uncomfortable that we got no sleep, the overall shabbiness of the room was awfull! When we went downstairs to the pub there was a DJ playing(this on a Sunday evening?) and the sound was an assault on the ears!!! I have never heard music at this volume before! We had to get out of there! Even in the restaurant the waitress informed us that we couldn’t have our steaks medium rare…. But that they must be cooked medium???? We were beyond done by this stage!

It was not bad but also just average

Cons:

Was unable to provide an invoice at check-in and had difficulty with check-out, despite me informing them I was leaving early the next morning. Assistance felt minimal, and it seemed like every request was an effort. Additionally, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and very hard.

The staff are friendly, facilities are clean

Cons:

I have never slept at any casino otr hotel with a bed so uncomfortable. It was so hard the pillows were even worse. We could not sleep at all
The ox tail we had at the restaurant was terrible. We did lodge a complaint with the manager
