Palmyra Patong Resort

i didn't like none of the fitness equipment are in working conditions. i was disappointed, i booked this resort because it has a gym so that i can keep my routine daily workout while i am on vacation. (: (:

Great pool good restaurant whats not too like

Buffet breakfast was great each day. The pool was nice and clean everyday

We had a fantastic stay at the Palmyra Hotel in Patong! The rooms were clean and tidy, a little bit dated in style, but that didn’t affect our experience at all. The pool area was beautiful and such a great spot to relax, and the service throughout our stay was amazing—staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

Breakfast was good, with a nice variety on offer. Personally, I would have liked to see a few more Western options, but that’s just a preference, not a fault of the hotel.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend the Palmyra to anyone visiting Patong.

The Palmyra Patong Resort is what I'd consider and entry level resort. It's located in the heart of Patong, near a large shopping center (just 850m from the modern and relatively upscale Jungceylon), but is located among Patong's many massage places, street-front open-air bars, hair extension salons, tourist gift shops, and tatoo parlors. The area wasn't really what I was looking for, but many folks seem to come here just for the ambience. We found three roaches in our room (two the first night, and one the second), but otherwise, the room was clean.

Breakfast buffet was good. Evening meal was ok. Pool was great. Close to shops and restaurants.

Great stay, nice room right next to the pool. Pity some guests decided to play there Latino and then Indian music super loud and staff didn’t care

Staff was good, helpful as needed - let us check in a little earlier. Rooms are more dated than what you see from the photos. The exterior (pool,etc) also looks a lot bigger in the photos. Location is great, easy walk to bangla strip, and the area around with a lot of options to eat, shop, etc. Think Expedia shows this as a 4 star property, may be 3-3.5 at best. For the price we paid though, it was fine.

Palmyra is a great place to stay in Patong. Clean rooms, awesome staff, nice pool, full service breakfast options, and in the middle of the nightlife of the town. The only con is the light sockets are loose so my plugs kept falling out. Thats it! Go see for yourself.

We stayed for 6 nights at the Palmyra Patong Resort. It is conveniently located to all the action of Patong but is set back a little ways off the main street which is nice and quiet. You can choose to walk everywhere or take a Tuk Tuk which are conveniently located near the entrance to the Resort. This resort is a great value. Every Staff Member we encountered is very friendly and they always offered a greeting and Smile and went above and beyond to help us. The Pool area is clean, big and refreshing. The breakfast is in an outdoor “Resort Style Setting”and offered many options and was very good. I did give the resort 4 stars for the condition…It is clean but is showing some wear and tear in some areas. I saw the gym and it looks like all new and with high-end equipment you would find in the nicest gyms. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are big. We took the Patong - Airport bus each way for 100 Baht a person. It is nice and air conditioned and was just a fast as a car or van. I would definitely stay at Palmyra again!
