The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The lift had a mind of its own, the door would start to close, then open for no reason.
It was a bit noisy during the night, 'although to be fair it was on the river front'.

Excellent hotel and nice view over Tonle sap
Pros:

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It is within walking distance of the riverside, Royal Palace, National Museum, and the local wet market.

We stayed in the Riverside Loft, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The view over the Tonle Sap River and the weekend walking street below was excellent and added to the overall experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking the Kanika boat trip and also arranged our taxi back to Siem Reap. Grab deliveries are allowed at the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it very convenient.

The room was well equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and coffee/tea sachets with creamer and sugar. The hotel also provides basic toiletries.

On weekends, the road below is converted into a walking street, so it can get a bit noisy. However, we did not find it disruptive to our sleep. In fact, it was quite convenient to simply walk downstairs and explore the market stalls and shops set up along the street.

I would book TAO Riverside Residence again.
Pros:

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff impressed me very positively. The hotel is very conveniently located; many things are within walking distance. For the price, the hotel is very well equipped.

Cons:

The hotel does not offer breakfast. However, you can get it at a reasonable price at the Lucky Corner Restaurant (20 meters away).

Great stay great people
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large room, soft and comfortable bed and pillow pillows amazing shower, but don’t turn the water pressure too high or you might run low on hot. It was a fantastic stay centrally, located on the riverfront.

Cons:

Easy to find? Nice veranda and view ask for Riverview. It’s very nice!

Great Little Hotel by the Riverside and would be happy to stay again!

Great Location on the Riverside! Spacious Rooms and nice view from the balcony. Fast Internet and big TV.

Great views and lovely staff!
Pros:

- Stayed in the penthouse and the balcony view was great to watch the city go by.
- Staff are very friendly.
- Location overall is good, with plenty of restaurants / markets / street food close by.
- Comfy bed
- A BIG fridge, very useful!
- The lift

The noise level/soundproofing is fine IF you're staying weekdays. On Friday night, the nearby club noise was notably louder.
