Very poor.thy dont know how to behave perticular day reception staff.I paid 300 for earli check in and they refused to give me bill for what i paid.he said u can do what u want,we will not issue bill.getting bill for what i paid is my constitutional right. dont suggest this hotel.very poor that guy on reception was to rough to talk.plz dont get this hotel.even toilets are very dirty.
The hotel service was very bad and hard to talk in english to. I would never come back and will not recomend it to anybody else!
Couldn't check in, I was a day early. They had no records. However, after seeing the hotel I was happy to look for another.
I arrived late due to do flight delays, which is one reason why I requested their 24 hour service. When I arrived, I could tell it was a bad area - it wasn't until morning I realized it was a slum. Even the locals called it a slum. All the lights were out inside as I could see through the clear glass window. The front door was locked - by locked I mean it was tied shut with a rope around both handles from the inside. I am going to leave my items here and consider them safe while I am out sight seeing?? I knocked until someone woke up from behind the counter to come greet me. Their staff sleeps in the lobby which I believe was the main source of loud phone calls all night.
After arriving in my room, it was pretty dirty, but I was exhausted. I ended up sleeping in my clothes and wrapping a tee shirt around their stained pillows as added protection. I slept on my U-shape flight pillow.
I could hear constant banging and clanging of who knows what outside in the hall ways, phone rings from somewhere in the hall, and a window connected my room to another where I thought someone may have been dying from all the coughing and extremely loud hacking. The leaking faucet for the shower bucket and sink created non stop dripping noises all night.
To top it all off - I spent $22 a night here for two nights totaling $44 not including taxes. This is about 1200-1300 Rupee. I quickly changed hotels and am enjoying a wonderful hotel for the same price that is above standards for many inexpensive western hotels such as holiday inn.
As a solo backpacker, I wouldn't spend more than 400 RS or $7 us on this place. I have stayed in many...less than stellar locations to keep on a backpackers budget, but for this location to cost $44 US...absolutely the wrong call..
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! IF YOU ARE WITH FAMILY, AVOID THIS FOR SAFTY!
Hotel was cheap, served the purpose
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is nice as a starting point and near to the New Delhi train and metro station. Rooms are small and beds hard.
I would definitely suggest booking the Deluxe room which was much nicer than the standard room. We were put in the standard room the first night, and I had to complain to the front desk in order to switch. Had I not compared to the pictures on Hotels.com and seen an open room while walking by, I would never have known. I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Rama inn is ok, the main redeeming factors about this hotel are that internet was fast and there was hot water.
The first room they gave us was too small but later on telling, they gave us a better room..The photos showed in website are completely different from reality .. Food was good and at subsidiary rate..area was bit noisy but lots of hotels.. The beds were little dirty. Anyhow the hospitability was good and made up for all..
Very close to train station and close to airport metro. Seems to be a good price for the Delhi, at least compared to hotels near airport.
I arrived at 3am and they very waiting for me. Kind staff and helpful staff
This is the third time I stay at Rama Inn. In the past everything has been fine, which is why I continued to use them. However, this time there were issues with their internet system and was told it would not be corrected for days. Fortunately, I was able to move to a lower floor and connect to their reception area router. Why would just the reception area work? I dont know, but it IS India. Overall my stay was still ok.
I wanted a fairly inexpensive place to stay overnight before an early train from New Delhi railway station, which is a few minutes away by walking. This place did the job, no more, no less. It's definitely a budget hotel. Things are in relatively decent shape, not stellar, but very much manageable. I do wish the sheets had been in better shape, and that the staff had replaced them when I'd asked and they said I would, but it was fine. Overall the staff was very friendly, and also very helpful when I was having issues with the wifi, I would say they and the location are the best part about the hotel. If you have the funds for it, there's a fairly new place a few doors down called Bloomrooms which seems to be pretty nice, kind of like a budget Novotel (swanky, simple, comfortable), though the room rates seem to be about double the price of Rama Inn. Anyway, all with Rama Inn worked out fine.
a good clean budget hotel for peaceful stay I feel they need to update the rooms are little but toilets are very good clean n updated.
All in all a value for money but need to update rooms n ensure proper wifi connection.
A/C worked fine. 2nd floor internet not working, had to connect to 1st floor with slower connection. All in all, I would stay again.
WiFi is spotty. Comes and goes. Good A/C, but stiff bed
Improvement needed in cleanliness of toilet.
I was on a 3 month trip - used over 40 hotels, paying from £3 to £150. At £10 for a standard room this was a real bargain - 25% of the cost of a worse room in a nasty street in Karol Bargh. It's not the Ritz: simple room with dated furniture, but excellent value. Clean - none of that musty smell you often get in India - plenty of hot water, lift, good wifi in rooms. £0.50 tuk tuk ride to the airport metro, and walking distance from the main railway station. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.
This hotel is a good value and is in a convenient location near the New Delhi train station and New Delhi metro station (easy access to airport by the metro light rail). For the area, this place is clean and comfortable and has good room service, as well as good wi-fi which was important to me during my stay. Unfortunately I didn't get hot water in my shower. But I would stay here again and would recommend it to someone looking for good but inexpensive accomodation in Delhi.
Good stay overall. Quiet, undisturbed. Served my purpose well.
I enjoyed my stay. The showerhead on the shower is the only thing I could say was disappointing because the water could not flow freely. The room was clean, the wifi worked ok and the bed was comfortable. Hot water was not an issue as well as the a/c.
