Astounding beauty outside, a stylish, cozy feeling inside. We stayed in a mountain view room on the main building, and really enjoyed our short stay. We'll be back to try to trails on property. The room is spacious (much larger than it looked in the pictures), the view amazing, and the grounds are gorgeous. Fantastic property, and lovely service. Highly recommended.

The personnel are all very kind. The breakfast is good, better than average, and the location is very good.
There was something running inside the walls of our room that you could hear but it wasn’t so loud that it would interfere with your sleep.

This was beautiful, and the people were great. Just didn't have a lot of do outside walking around and seeing the Volcano, Coffee Tour and La Paz. This could be done in 1 or 2 nights tops.

Wow!!! This hotel is more than what we all had expected! It’s clean! I got a garden view room with my 2 boys. It was the cutest room! It was so clean and everything you need is in the room.

We went on a little hike with my 2 boys while we were there. They have umbrella available. They have boots available for me AND my boys. They were at the beautiful green house. I cannot recommend more about this hotel!
We would def return!

Highly recommended- peaceful stay
Pros:

I can't recommend this lodge highly enough. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is great. Rooms are cozy. The reading and game rooms are terrific... wonderful fires at night. Everything is very, very clean.

Pros:

Nice small lodge in the moutains. Great views. Good service. Friendly staff. Limited choice in food but good enough for short stays. Nice trails to walk.

Pros:

Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls.
