Gute Gegend, nettes Personal, für meine Bedürfnisse leider nicht ideal.
Pros:

Die Lage ist an sich gut - Nähe zum Bahnhof, helle Gegend in der ich mich wohl gefühlt habe. Das Personal war freundlich, und es war möglich, das Zimmer zu wechseln, und das zweite war besser geschnitten als das erste (das erste Zimmer hatte ein Doppelbett, aber dafür praktisch keinen Platz, um meinen Koffer ganz zu öffnen). Wirkte sauber.

Cons:

Die erste Nacht konnte ich nicht schlafen - mein Fenster ging in einen Hinterhof, in dem ein industrieller Entlüfter oder sowas die ganze Nacht gedröhnt hat (ich hatte das Zimmer wegen der Bemerkung "Schallisolierung" reserviert). Ein Zimmerwechsel war möglich, dann ging mein Zimmer aber zur Promenade - ebenfalls laut, aber immerhin ab drei Uhr nachts, wenn das Restaurant/die Bar geschlossen hatte, war dann Ruhe.
Kleine Makel im Raum - laute Spülung, die endlos weitergelaufen ist, wenn man sie nicht richtig bedient hat, eine gebrochene Bodenplatte(?) im Badezimmer direkt vor der Dusche.

Very good location.
Pros:

Central location, close to the river and cathedral. Staff were very helpful and the food was nice.
The room was warm, we had a fan which did help a little. The toilet flush was a little tricky.

Central location, ideal for a stopover
Pros:

Very convenient location, minutes on foot from the station and overlooking the Rhine, in a pedestrian area so no car traffic. Decent facilities. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Fan provided on a very hot day. Ideal for us for an overnight stay.

Cons:

Room was adequate but small. Pillows uncomfortable. Staff were mostly brusque and a bit pushy in the restaurant. Cafés and bars downstairs were noisy until late, but that goes with the location. I'd expected more character in a historic hotel.

Hotel ligt aan de boulevard van Keulen

Cons:

Het personeel was zeer onvriendelijk. We hebben lang moeten wachten op onze checkin, terwijl het personeel ons gewoon meer maals voorbij liep. Kamers zijn erg gedateerd, schimmel in de badkamer en lekkage is te zien in het stucwerk

Super Lage, saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal, das Hotel ist empfehlenswert
Pros:

Die Lage ist Top, es war alles super sauber und es war alles vorhanden bzw. die Zimmer gut ausgestattet, wenn auch minimalistisch. Es war ruhig und alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden

Cons:

Eigentlich gar nichts schlechtes, man bekommt ein sehr gutes Hotelzimmer für das Geld

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt für Köln Touristen ideal in der Altstadt mit Sicht auf den Rhein.
Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sehr zugänglich.01

Cons:

Das gebuchte Dreibett Zimmer bestand aus zwei Betten und einem alten Schlafsofa, anders als in den Fotos dargestellt.
Das Sofa war eine echte Katastrophe und war kaum nutzbar.

Pros:

Location right at the back of cathedral and centre of town pedestrian area.
Very quiet room, facing rear of building and away from street facing area, important considering it is above restaurant and bar which have great food and drinks

Cons:

Worn out furniture, congested room with too many items put together randomly, armchair worn out should be replaced with smaller one. Table and chairs should be replaced with one small round table & one chair. New Towels should be provided from same set. Hard drier properly hung. Third bed in the roof recess should be avoided.
