Location and hospitality; what more could one ask for?
Pros:

Loved everything about the property! Location is amazing, just steps from the Cathedral. The hotel is so quaint and our room was large with a sitting area and beautiful balcony with blooming flowers overlooking Rua Vilar. While you feel like you step back in time, the amenities are modern. Our flight left early so we couldn’t make breakfast but the staff prepared coffee and pastries for us before we left.

Great hotel in a great location!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and cozy with charming decor. And the staff and service were outstanding. They were kind enough to store my backpack before and after my stay. When the cleaner found my charger in my room, the staff made sure to put it with my bag so it was waiting for me when I picked it up later. Someone is at the service desk 24 hours. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional - Stay here if yiu have the opportunity!
Pros:

Hotel Rua Villar is exceptional! I stayed here after completing the Portuguese Camino. The hotel is very centrally located in the historic center of Santiago and is a (5) minute walk maximum from the Cathedral. The property features a lovely aesthetic. It is quiet, clean and my room was spacious and welcoming. The upper floors all look into a beautiful sky lit interior atrium which is lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
