Superior staff, exceptional location, and quiet comfortable rooms make Hotel Victoria shine!
Pros:

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Victoria. Every person we interacted with on the staff was amazing. Esteban helped set us up in adjoining rooms with an amazing view of the river, helped us secure taxis and tours, and provided advice throughout our trip. Luis met our every need for breakfast in the morning, greeting us with a smile and delicious breakfast, eaten while watching hummingbirds flit to and fro in the adjacent garden. Alfredo, at the bar, helped us celebrate visiting friends from afar, cheering with us as we watched the World Cup. The rooms were incredibly comfortable - both quiet and well appointed. The location was perfect - it was easy to walk throughout the historic downtown area as well as enjoy beautiful morning strolls along the river. We had heard from a friend that this was the only place she stayed when visiting Cuenca, and we'll definitely be back too!

The ONLY place I stay in Cuenca
Pros:

The location is wonderful, the rooms are extremely comfortable, the breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the service is world class! I am a repeat customer, and whenever I visit Cuenca, this is the ONLY place I stay.
