I enjoyed elegance and a cultural experience while staying at the Victoria Hotelin the Historic District of Cuenca.
Pros:

The location, directly facing the Tomebamba River in the Historic Center of Cuenca, is exceptional. The hotel itself is elegant. The service is the best ever. You will feel like royalty staying here. Just be sure you ask for a room facing the river and not the noisy street, called Calle Larga.

Cons:

There is NOTHING not to love about this hotel. The value is extraordinary. The breakfast alone, which is included with a room stay, is a special experience!

This will definitely become our hotel in Cuenca.
Pros:

Most important to us is a good sleep, and our room was very quiet. And beautiful, with a glass wall overlooking the garden. Excellent breakfast in the main dining room offers everything from granola and yogurt to an omelet. Beautiful details throughout this historic building.

Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was good, but the breakfast was exactly the same every day. I would’ve preferred a buffet. Room was beautiful and quaint. Dinner at the restaurant was really top class and a great bargain compared to the US.

Cons:

It was very noisy. Loud corny music playing in the lobby that you could hear in the room. If you were trying to sleep during the day, it was impossible and this continued into the night. I did ask them to turn it down and they were very nice and did so, but I had to ask every night. The first room they gave me was right over the kitchen was very hot. They tried to compensate for this by putting a room blower thing in the room. I did complain and the very nice staff changed the room the next day.

Pros:

Apesar do quarto ser bem pequeno, tinha tudo o que era preciso.

Cons:

Extremamente barulhento. Não é um hotel para quem quer relaxar e ir curtir um feriado, por exemplo.

Llegamos a las 7 de la mañana después de un viaje En bus desde Quito. El check-in se hace normalmente desde la una de la tarde. Desayunamos y ya estaba lista la habitación 😃. Gracias por este servicio

Estuvimos en la habitación 001 en el piso -3. No entra luz, la habitación es muy oscura y fría. A evitar esta habitación
