Great riverside location. Easy access to river taxis and key attractions. Excellent friendly, helpful staff. Quality food and drinks at affordable prices. Deluxe riverside room was perfect with spacious balcony and amazing views

The Riva Surya is a wonderful Thai experience.
Pros:

A wonderful hotel. Generously sized rooms, overlooking the river. The pool and restaurant areas were a pleasure - especially at cocktail time. The staff were outstanding - not just very friendly and super helpful with suggestions and bookings. Breakfast was excellent - with Thai and Western choices. And the location was terrific too - a tuk-tuk away from the main tourist areas, but there was a typical and attractive Thai street food + restaurants + stalls street less than 5 mins walk away. Great value too!. I cant recommend the Riva Surya highly enough.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I'd change.

We enjoyed our stay. A nice oasis of tranquility close to the small bust streets and lanes.
Pros:

Location - walking distance to local attractions, cooler by the river.

Food - great restaurant.

Staff - friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

There is some noise from boat traffic on the river but you get accustomed to it, it’s not too loud and is more than made up by the sense space the view over the river gives.

Great stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Riva Surya Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, check-in was seamless and the staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive.
The hotel is in a fantastic location right along the Chao Phraya River, within easy walking distance to a wide variety of local shops, cafes, and restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—even with a street-facing room, the double glass doors completely shielded out the traffic noise, making for a quiet and restful sleep.
The on-site restaurant is another standout, serving excellent traditional Thai dishes alongside great Western breakfast options. Highly recommend Riva Surya for anyone looking for great service, comfort, and a convenient riverside base in Bangkok.

Cons:

Pool area has limited lounges but overall not too crowded of a pool area.

Sehr zentral und gut erreichbar
Pros:

Die zentrale Lage direkt am Fluss und Altstadt. Direkt hinterm Haus ist die Bootsanlegestelle Phra Arthit, die von verschiedene Schifffahrtslinien angefahren wird. Von da gelangt man sehr gut zu fast allen Sehenswürdigkeit.

Cons:

Nachts kann es schon auch mal etwas lauter werden auf dem Fluss
