Echt een mooi hotel met een goed restaurant, schone kamers, goede bedden, centrale ligging, kortom: top!
Beautiful town, great hotel with beautiful architecture.
The receptionist told us what parking to use, but didn’t specify that the letter H is for that specific hotel, which had us walking sooo much in the dark.
Toen wij aankwamen in het hotel hadden we klachten die zo goed mogelijk al direct werden opgelost. Vriendelijk en kordaat personeel.
Het hotel is prachtig! Zoals uit de meeste recensies op te merken valt, hebben de kamers wat TLC nodig. Niets ingrijpends, alleen wat liefde. De parkeerkosten zijn inderdaad hoger dan in de rest vd parking (snap ik voor een hotel die ook reserveringskosten moeten afdragen)

ruime kamers, goede bedden, fijn dat het hondje mee mocht.
het personeel is vriendelijk maar ik krijg niet de indruk dat het van harte is...ik ben ook een keer toegeroepen met: "hey! de hond mag daar niet komen. " Ik vind de aanroepterm "hey" nou niet bepaald beleefd! En als het hondje wel in het hotel mag maar niet in het aangrenzende restaurant is dat wel vaag. Bij het ontbijt wordt er door het personeel bij binnenkomt ook niet echt begroet, tenzij je zelf iets zegt. Wel zijn ze behulpzaam als je iets vraagt. Bij de incheck werd mij gezegd dat ik het hondje had moeten aangeven, dat had ik gedaan via booking.com. Als dit dan niet doorkomt, is het niet zo aardig om dat aan te stippen alsof dat aan mij ligt. Ook het hotel zelf is een beetje een doolhof, van de parking naar receptie, als je van het de bovenste verdieping via het trappenhuis naar de receptie wil, kom je uit tegenover de onbijtzaal, beetje vaag, staat ook niet duidelijk aangegeven. Ook van de kamer naar de gang en dan naar de lift is er geen bordje op die 2e deur. Je loopt dus daar makkelijk aan voorbij.
Mooie ruime kamer, goede temperatuur, schoon. Zou leuk zijn als de minibar gevuld is.
Personeel was vrij zakelijk en kortaf. De service om in de ODA parking te parkeren op voor Merici gereserveerde plekken klinkt heel chique, maar kost €15 per dag, terwijl de garage zelf €5 per dag kost en ook prima veilig is. Ontbijt is vrij duur, op de markt zitten veel ontbijtgelegenheden die leuker zijn.
We kregen een upgrade naar de suite! Geweldige kamer met een prachtig losstaand bad. Het hotel ligt kn een heel mooi, oud stukje van Sittard. Ondergrondse parkeerplaats aanwezig.
Niets!
Het hotel heeft een prettige sfeer, straalt luxe uit. De ligging is prima, twee minuten van de Grote Markt. De kamer was erg groot, mooi en smaakvol ingericht, alle nodige voorzieningen waren er.
De douchevloer wordt gevaarlijk glad door de gebruikte steensoort. Dit is echt een aandachtspunt. Daarnaast waren er geen haakjes om je handdoek op te hangen. En mat-doorzichtige deuren bij zowel douche als wc hebben niet mijn voorkeur. Ik vond de prijs aan de hoge kant.
