Hosts were very friendly and always ready to help. Gianni was so kind and very sociable. What an experience staying in such a wonderful place with amazing views. Would definitely go back. Loved the pool with the views. Thank you Gianni.

One of the best holidays we have had. The castle is amazing and very comfortable with fantastic views.. We shall certainly be back. A great base to explore the lovely towns nearby.

Hidden beauty. Fantastic find.
Pros:

This is a rare find; a 13th century castello, lovingly restored and converted into comfortable and atmospheric apartments. There are magnificent views across Umbria. You are within reach of Spoleto and Foligno. Only problem; finding it. I strongly suggest that anyone booking it should make sure they get a precise map, because it is in the middle of nowhere. Worse, the map given on the hotels.com page puts it in the wrong place, (there's a cemetery there instead) which cost me 45 minutes of looking for something that wasn't there, but 5 miles up the road. I'd have been furious, but when I got there it was so lovely, (the people, too), I forgot everything.
