Hotel is nice and friendly
The location is perfect, with beach access, a nice area for photographs and alot more. The inhouse restaurant is wonderful with a very friendly staff. Our only issue was the roadside parking as there area other hotels and restaurants around using the same roadway for parking, once you returning late set your mind to get a far park. Otherwise the place was excellent, would definitely revisit!

Everything good
When I booked my stay at the Scuba Lodge, I did not know what to expect. I went there with my husband to celebrate my 60th birthday. Needless to say, it surpassed all my expectations- From the outstanding service at the reception and housekeeping staff to the spacious 2- bedroom oceanfront condo. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Not only was the pool absolutely tranquil, but the secluded cove steps away provided an experience of serenity that I truly needed. As far as the location, the restaurants, shopping and tourist sites were all within walking distance. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone seeking a down- to -earth beachy island vibe with good food and excellent staff.
A great location for a stay in Willemstad. It is clean, friendly staff and is really fantastically located on the Caribbean Sea. We stayed 2 nights and slept the first night in room 27. A beautiful and spacious room with a balcony at the front. However, a big disadvantage is that it is located on the street side and therefore very noisy at night due to the heavy traffic passing by. The next night we rebooked to a room on the garden/sea side and slept well there. This room was also fine with a terrace on the garden side. Recommended if you do not take a room on the street side!
Third time to this boutique hotel in 2 years. Convenient for scuba diving as there is a dive shop 100 feet from the property. The staff at Scuba Lodge are friendly and accommodating. There are 2 pools (small) on the property with one (infinity) overlooking the ocean. The food is excellent, great coffee and croissants. I plan to return sooner than later

Absolutely loved our stay at Scuba Lodge! The ocean view suite, Savonet Suite, was great! Lots of space to spread out. Staff was incredible. We loved the restaurant on site too!
Loved the staff at this property and the unique rooms in the old buildings. Now, the name is misleading… hotel really doesn’t have anything SCUBA related and that was one of the reasons we chose it. No tanks, no scuba gear drying… the neighbouring dive shop does use the garden pool but with the lack of parking using that shop was not a good choice for use. Don’t get me wrong, LOVED Scuba Lodge but if you’re a diver and thinking they cater to divers given the name that is not the case. This could be fixed with drying bars (racks don’t work for heavy gear), on site gear lockers and tank depots.
If you want personalized treatment, clean rooms, beautiful walkable location, AMAZING staff - this is the place.
We absolutely love Scuba Lodge! Have stayed here 2 times of our 3 visits to the island. The staff are awesome, the restaurant is delicious and the rooms are spectacular. I always have a lot of questions, etc and the communication from the front office is amazing. We have stayed in the 2 bedroom ocean view apartment twice, and it is one of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. We will always stay with them when we visit. I cannot say enough about the resort and the staff!
The staff here are AMAZING!
Ok, night one termites hatched and our room had flying bugs. Ghislaine came to our room and moved us. Room 2 was beautiful but right on the street where construction crews arrived bright and early every morning and where restaurant patrons are basically 15 feet from your bed (outside on a patio not the room)… and they’re having a lovely time but have to talk over the sound of the generator (yep, neighbouring property only had generator power). Staff moved us to our third room of week one. None of these things were their fault and they were amazing coming up with solutions for us.
This was a surprise 75th birthday trip. Family arrived week 2. Two standard rooms were changed to a 2 king in suite ocean front ground floor apartment. They moved my husband and I while we were away, got family in position, delivered food, a bday cake and decorated our room. It was truly a surprise and they pulled it off!
I’d go back just for the way the staff treated us! The staff here is what make the property.
The property is truly unique and delightfully small. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Housekeeping keeps everything neat and clean. The bedding is sparkling white.
Ok. Of the 4 beds, only one had a good mattress… most were tired and should be replaced. Also, being an historic property there are signs of age which need to be addressed but when your staying in a building built in 1897 you shouldn’t expect brand new.
This is my 2nd visit to scuba lodge and I’ll be back again! The staff, from front desk employees to housekeeping, maintenance, waiters and waitresses, are all amazing! Very courteous and helpful! Service is top notch!
