When we arrived at the hotel there was no reservation for us I showed the accommodation voucher but they said no email had been received from hotels.com, I asked to use the phone to contact Hotels.com but they said no as it was an international number, I therefore had to get an Indian sim for my phone at a cost of 495 rupee and then put 300 rupee credit on to be able to speak with somebody at Hotels.com who called the hotel and tried resending emails while keeping me on hold but they still couldn’t receive them and my credit ran out so my only option was to pay the hotel silverstone myself and hope Hotels.com do the decent thing and refund my original reservation money and maybe the extra charges I incurred?????
Booked and paid for 20 nights accommodation, picked up by a family friend from Delhi Airport and taken to the hotel, the reception I received was cold, unwelcoming and indifferent, on presenting my itinerary and receipt, proof of payment, the man at the desk looked at it and gave me a blank saying they have nothing, by this time extreme panic had set in, because i was on my own and now stranded at 9pm, fortunately the family friend asked me to their home, but I declined and needed to be in that area which is close to my unwell elderly relative, fortunately i found a hotel near by and booked in and was made very welcome and comfortable.
I stayed at this hotel in Oct 2013. Room was really good considering the price I paid for this hotel. Metro station was only 4-6 mins walk. It's in a busy and safe location. Hotel staff was really helpful
Room was fine, rooftop restaurant seems to be a storage area and not very clean, better to eat in room. Food was ok. Overall pretty average, but good value for money
