オフシーズンの宿泊で快適でしたが、家族連れには少しホテルが多きすぎました
Pros:

ヨーロッパアルプスにありそうなデザインの、大きなホテル。ロビーは、7階まで格子ガラスの吹き抜け。エレベータもシースルーで外の景色が見える。
夕食、朝食ともバイキングで、品数がとても多い。シェフが手作りした料理が数品あり、とてもおいしい。
かなりの高地にあり、雲も月もない夜だったので、星空が抜群に美しい。（宿泊した日は、ホテル主催で、有料のガイド付き星空鑑賞会が催されていた。）
ホテルの裏側はゲレンデ。朝の散歩でゲレンデを登ってみたところ、素晴らしい景観だった。

Cons:

大きなホテルで、オフシーズンのためか、ほとんどが団体客。修学旅行の中学生が、一定時間、大浴場を占有する。大浴場もホテル規模の割には広いとは言えない。夕食時はレストラン大混雑で、団体客が騒がしい。客室に冷蔵庫はあるが、ビジネスホテル以下の小型サイズ。電子レンジはない。冷蔵庫、エアコンの動作音も、ある程度はする。団体客は朝の出発も早く、朝食のレストランも大混雑。逆に、8時を過ぎると、静かにのんびり朝食ができる。ただし、9時を過ぎると客室の片付けが大規模に開始されるので、少し気ぜわしい。

美しい山々に囲まれた素敵な建物での癒し旅
Pros:

南小谷駅までシャトルサービスがあったこと（予約制）お食事のビュッフェが地元の食材を活かした豊富なメニューであったこと、家族にシニアがいるのでエレベーターが近いお部屋をリクエストしたら、対応してくださったことなどです。また、お部屋から山が良く見えて、イングリッシュガーデンもホテルの前にあり、お散歩がとても楽しかったです。カフェのジェラートがとても美味しいのでおすすめです。

Pros:

イングリッシュガーデンが素敵で、癒されました。バイキングのお料理の種類が多く、美味しかったです。和洋室タイプで落ち着いて過ごすことができました。

Cons:

朝のバイキングで美味しい牛乳を楽しみにしていましたが、容器が空っぽになっていました。スタッフの方に声をかけましたが、なかなか補充されず…ざんねん😞
