Fantastic break, we will visit again.
Pros:

The charm of the building and grounds, excellent service from the staff that were very attentive. Great location for Lyndhurst village centre.

Pros:

The hotel was comfortable and in a good location and our room was very good with a comfortable bed. We also liked the two lounges which were available at any time of the day to relax in.

Cons:

We were disappointed not to have bottled water in our room as seems to be the norm in other hotels these days.

Relaxing and stylish. Will definitely return.
Pros:

Beautiful period property, immaculately maintained. Serene atmosphere, with the feeling everything was completely under control. Perfectly located for nearby shops. Church bells opposite were nice.

Cons:

Our mattress was a little too soft, but only because we both have back issues.

Pros:

We liked everything about this hotel. Its staff were all outstandingly helpful, cheerful ,efficient and friendly. Our superior room was large and very comfortable. Dining was very good as was breakfast

Cons:

There was no true bar as such but we could get a drink as expected and sit away from the bar itself.
