Loved the hotel but would ensure we had at least a good size double bed and aircon in our room if we booked again.

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Had a fabulous evening meal of fish and chips, best I’ve eaten!
The staff in restaurant and bar were fabulous

Cons:

We had a compact double room (119) not realizing that meant a minute double bed!! It definitely wasn’t a double. Hotel details also said it had aircon, but our room didn’t, it just had a fan . So between a tiny bed for 2 people and no aircon on a very hot day and night my husband and I could not sleep.

Fabulous service. Proper old school. Great location but that has a compromise.

The road outside is very busy. Nothing the hotel can do about it but it can be a bit noisy.

Delightful and relaxing stay at the Crown Manor House Hotel
Pros:

Loved all aspects of this hotel; friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival, beautiful grounds and hotel, comfortable and elegant room, delicious breakfast and perfect location - already planning our next visit.

Cons:

The mattress was a little too soft for my back but nothing a few mins of morning yoga couldn't fix

Pros:

La struttura offre molti spazi ricreativi ed ha anche un giardino esterno abbastanza grande. La colazione è prevalentemente inglese.

Cons:

La stanza non era per nulla insonorizzata. Si riusciva a sentire tutto dalle altre stanze. La stanza di tipo compatto ha un letto molto piccolo per due persone.

Lovely stay in a nice location
Pros:

The cooked breakfast was very tasty, and the selection on the breakfast as a whole was very good.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

We stayed on a Thursday night which was bell ringing practice at the church next door, and it went on for a couple of hours and was very loud even with the window closed. I realise the church activities are not within the control of the hotel, but maybe some rubber seals on the windows to make them a bit more airtight would help reduce the outside noise.

Pleasant weekend, I would not stay in the hotel again

Location was very good. Breakfast adequate. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Room was disappointing not like I expected from the picture. Booked a superior but was given a family room with the 3rd bed taken out. The room was tired in need of decorating. The bath/shower is definitely a health hazard, difficult to get in and out the shower with nothing on the wall to hold onto, it was also very cold. Definately not a 4 star.
