Incredible Service and Stay
Pros:

Incredible hotel and service! Like most five-star properties, the rooms at The Langham, Shenzhen are clean and spacious, and the amenities are excellent. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional hospitality.
Upon arrival, the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a Club room, giving us access to the Club Lounge benefits, including a fantastic free afternoon tea. Additionally, we had a large number of packages shipped to the hotel prior to and during our stay, and the concierge desk handled all of them with absolute professionalism and a smile.
The standout moment of our trip happened during dinner. We had a $100 property credit from booking through the Chase Travel portal and planned to use it at Silk, the buffet restaurant on the second floor. When we asked about the price, the restaurant quoted us a local discounted rate. However, to utilize our Chase credit, we were told we had to charge the buffet to our room at the standard full price—which was nearly double the discount!
We brought this up to the waitstaff, and the gentleman in the grey suit who had checked us in at the Club Lounge actually came down to the restaurant to personally sort out the entire situation for us.
I seriously cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. If you are looking for a relaxing, luxurious stay in Shenzhen with a team that truly cares about the guest experience, The Langham is worth every penny.

Stay here if you want great service and no cigarette smell! Our favorite hotel in China
Pros:

We loved this place so much, we came back a second time. Great customer service and the staff spoke English and communication was easy. Breakfast was delicious and the afternoon tea in the clubhouse was very good. Hotel is very clean and always smells so nice. A common complaint among many hotels in china is the smell of cigarettes in the hotel rooms and from neighboring rooms via the air vents, but this hotel did not have that problem. It is the main reason we came back again to this hotel on our second visit. The housekeeping goes above and beyond their duty. They were very meticulous and even organized our charging cables with little ties.

The hotel is well located in Futian, close to shopping areas and the Convention & Exhibition Center. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite and check‑in was smooth.

Lovely hotel but don't pay extra for Club rooms- not worth it
Pros:

The breakfast was wonderful, with a wide variety and great service. Our room was and big and clean.

Cons:

I am extremely unhappy with my recent experience at the Club Lounge. We had to actively seek service; no refills were offered, and the sparkling wine was served at room temperature. The staff was clearly run off their feet attending to one large table. While I understand that busy periods happen, the hotel should have been better prepared. Part of the Club Lounge experience is being able to enjoy a cocktail and relax, but that simply wasn’t possible. We ultimately ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner.

Overall, it was very disappointing. What made matters worse was that I took the time to write to the hotel to formally complain about the issues, but my message was never even acknowledged. The lack of response only added to my frustration. I cannot recommend the Club Lounge based on this experience.

Cons:

We arrived at 4.pm, check in is normally 3pm and room wasn’t ready. Very weird smell and super humid in the room, so much so the bedsheets felt humid. Room decoration very outdated. Staff doesn’t speak English at all. For an international chain it is really a let down

Pros:

My friend and I booked an 8 night stay to celebrate our big birthday's together, as a treat. We stayed in a King Superior Suite, with access to the Executive lounge. From the time of check in with Cynthia (who is a true asset to the hotel. Her attentiveness, kindness and professionalism is what truly stood out as the shining feature of the hotel). The hotel, rooms, swimming pool and fitness centre are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and every staff member is trained to meet the high standards of the hotel. Thank you for making our time in Shenzhen so amazing!

All went except the bed . Kind of sunken
Pros:

Location is convenient but a no of old buildings surrounding the hotel

Cons:

Staff was friendly and helpful except the staff at the concierge. They can’t speak Cantonese and unsure on attractions and places to visit or dine

The rooms were nice and clean

Cons:

If you agree to let customers have a late check out, make sure they continue to have access to the room until the agreed time. Whilst I arrived back to the hotel with at least 20-30min before the late check out time, I could still go up the lift but not my room. It’s then a long walk back to the lobby. Worse, after the reception said they sorted my card, I went back up but still couldn’t access my room.
