Amazing food, lovely people, great value.
Pros:

An absolute gem! Food was exceptional - both dinner and breakfast. Owners and staff enthusiastic, friendly and very helpful. Beautiful double aspect room, stylish bathrooms and excellent attention to detail. Absolutely fab!

Pros:

Accueil chaleureux, on se sent vite comme à la maison. Les deux propriétaires et leur staff font tout pour être à l’écoute de leurs hôtes et les satisfaire. La restauration est excellente, les vins aussi. L’aménagement des lieux communs (restaurant, salon, bibliothèque) sont d’un goût parfait, sans parler du joli coin de la piscine. Bref, nous y sommes restés cinq jours et étions tristes de partir.

Beautiful golden stone building. Wonderful welcoming owners. Lovely pool. Beautiful views from hotel. Very quiet. Delicious food; one of the owners is the chef. Fantastic stay. Bikes locked in garage.

Great place for dinner

a nice hotel
Pros:

the hotel was very nice and clean, the desk help us up with our bags. The restaurant was very nice and the food was very good. We were close to the caves we visited and the staff made sure we knew where to go for the tour. It was tough to find a place to have breakfast before going on the cave tour.

The highlight of my six weeks in France.
Pros:

Jan and Ruud make the perfect combination - hospitality both in dining and in accommodation. I will not hesitate to recommend the Cro-Magnon and wish them all the best in this wonderful venture.

Altes Haus mit neuer toller Führung.
Pros:

Ruud und Jan führen das Hotel einfach fabelhaft. Wir auf einer langen e Bike Tour durch Frankreich und etwas früh dran. Wir haben uns im Garten sehr gut erholt, bis der Check in öffnete. Überraschend war die sehr gut ausgestattet Kraftecke in der großen Garage, in auch unsere e Bikes standen.
Der Pool war auch sehr schön. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir wünschen Ruud und Jan weiterhin alles Gute mit ihrem Hotel!

Pros:

Tastefully detailed with great attention to modern comfort curated by owners Jan and Ruud. Comfy beds a pillows, led lighted bathroom mirror, delightful courtyard for evening cocktails. Excellent breakfast including your egg order. Unlike some boutique hotels, a spacious bathroom for general guest use on 1st floor is a welcome amenity.

Fantastisch
Pros:

Charmant ietwat vervallen hotel op prima locatie. Super aardige eigenaren, hun benadering is heel persoonlijk en je voelt je echt te gast.
Hun bedrijf is nog in opbouw en renovatiefase. Erg leuk om te zien hoe ze dat aan het vormgeven zijn, met flair en goed gevoel voor kleur en stijl.
Alles was al aan de beurt is gekomen ziet er fantastisch uit. Echt een pareltje!

Cons:

Dat we nog een keer terug moeten komen, want het restaurant was gesloten en daar zijn we wel heel benieuwd naar.

Pros:

Un hôtel vraiment charmant tenu par des hôteliers accueillants et sympathiques qui aiment ce qu'ils font, cela se ressent à tous les niveaux. Très bon dîner et petit-déjeuners aussi copieux, variés que succulents.
