Linda, agradável e memorável. Faltou apenas um pouco de conforto para ser perfeita.

Localização excelente, bem perto da estação e muitos quartos com vistas para as montanhas. Café da manhã muito bom e com ambiente igualmente agradável. Restaurante do Hotel também muito bom. É uma ótima opção para ficar em Lauterbrunnen e nos permitiu muito aproveitar a paisagem incrível do local.

Cons:

Acessibilidade: ficamos em um quarto no chalé superior que era separado do prédio principal, e por isso tivemos que subir escadas com malas de viagem grandes.
Além disso, o quarto não tinha algumas coisas como frigobar, blackout nas janelas e ferro de passar. Entendo que algumas coisas são típicas do local, como não ter ar condicionado por exemplo. Mas outras são amenidades simples que poderiam tornar mais confortável a estadia do hóspede.
No geral é uma ótima opção para quem deseja ficar em Lauterbrunnen. Mas se você é alguém que prioriza conforto, talvez seria melhor buscar um local em uma área mais estruturada, como Interlaken por exemplo.

Pros:

Great location. Welcoming staff( specially Sandra). Beautiful clean room with view . I don’t normally eat breakfast but I couldn’t refuse this one , which was delicious.

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing staff who really do make your stay special
Pros:

Just perfect. Perfect peaceful location just a minute from the main street. Beautiful gardens, top quality fittings and comfort. Outstanding quality of food but also primarily the team there who do everything to make the guests welcome and comfortable. It really could not be faulted or bettered

The absolute perfect location to stay

The best view from any hotel room anywhere in the world!
Pros:

We had booked a Staubbach room and were really hoping we would get the larger one and we did so had a fabulous comfy sofa in the room as well as the best view I have ever had staying in any hotel around the world. I am not embarrassed to say I cried a bit when we walked in the room and saw the photos that we had been looking at come to life - better than we'd hoped for. The bed was sooooooo comfy.

Staff were lovely especially the waiting staff in the evening. We had some banter and laughs with them. We ate twice at the hotel in our 7 night stay and the pizzas were great and desserts were huge and lovely! Clean, perfect location, just back off the road.

Loved the free tea and coffee and cold water in the reception although would have liked an English breakfast tea not just Earl Grey.

This hotel really is a gem and very special.

The only reasons I wouldn't give a 10 out of 10 are the pillows - we had to fold in half to get the right size pillows - its been mentioned on this site already. They were just too flat. We had spent 4 nights in Luzern before coming to this hotel and had been able to order freshly cooked eggs of our choice and bacon so to have a hotplate of eggs and bacon was a little disappointing but a bonus was the pancakes!

The best view of any hotel room I have stayed in - we were in the annex building top floor.
