Generally comfortable
Pros:

Monotonous breakfasts

Cons:

Rooms have no privacy unless u keep ur curtain closed every passing next to ur room can clearly see inside. May be they should have opaque glass etc

Overall, this is a cut above what might expect from a guesthouse or B&B for business travellers.
Pros:

The hotel is very attractive with a lovely garden setting. Having individual suites makes for a more peaceful stay. The suite was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good. I had one evening meal (fish and chips), which exceeded my expectations because Little Tuscany does not highlight that it offers a restaurant per se. The food was tasty and the portion was generous. The eat-in option at night is great for those who don't want the hassle of going out at night after a busy day. The staff were helpful and attended to problems promptly. Little Tuscanny is a pleasant place to stay after a full day at a conference or meeting clients. The complimentary transfer from the airport was a welcome bonus.

Cons:

The geyser above my bathroom made a loud noise when the hot water was used in the adjoining suites - quite disturbing late at night and in the early morning. It seems one HWC services multiple suites, which might explain why there was not always enough hot water. The plug in the wash-hand basin did not work properly - something of a challenge when shaving as the water just flowed out of the basin. The WiFi sometimes went down, although not for long. This might have been the fault of the provider, not the hotel. On the first night, the electricity went down and the generator had a problem. However, staff attended to this, and the issue was resolved without much inconvenience. Service in the restaurant at night seemed a little slow. The menu options are limited, although I realize that the hotel does not provide a restaurant per se, and many travellers may want to eat out.

Convenient location, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff.

Cons:

Our bedroom overlooked the pool and didn't have net or privacy curtains. Also there was a party at the pool. Fortunately we were out a lot.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet oasis in the middle of Johannesburg
Pros:

Lovely gardens. Our room had a balcony over looking the view. Food was very good in the restaurant. Pool area was very nice for relaxing.

Cons:

Only issue was the pool water was quite cloudy and not inviting.

A quick visit to Montecasino
Pros:

Check-in as very fast and efficient. Room was of a very high standard. The only issue being it was very easy to hear movement in the next room. Beautiful looking hotel with a nice bar and outdoor areas to relax in. A very short ride to Montecasino. Breakfast was very good.
