Nowy Efendi Hotel - Special Class

Breakfast offered many options. Too many shops!! Room lovely. Would recommend to anyone who wants a great location, fair price and spotless accommodation!

Very clean and close to the tourist sites

Amazing staff, lovely breakfast, outstanding location! First stay here, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Istanbul. From the manager to all the front desk and restaurant staff, all were helpful! Room was clean and nice bath.

We had a very pleasant 4 day stay at the hotel. We are particularly impressed by the staff friendliness and availability, without exception. One small glitch that we had - one remote control not working - was promptly solved. A 10/10 award for them. Also, everything was clean in the room and in the public spaces. Having to its advantage also its beautiful location - only a few minutes away from the major attractions, we warmly recommend it for any stay in Istanbul.

The location is excellent - very central and located close to most of the attractions as well as the T1 tramway

The breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and very fresh. Different options everyday. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions and instructions on using transit and sightseeing. Amazing location to walk almost everywhere and close to transit lines. Very clean rooms and common areas too. Only complaints would be it’s getting a little too warn. The furniture in room had too much damage and should be replaced. Walls had holes in wallpaper and style is outdated. Also, as Expedia VIP, no upgrades or perks were offered. With that being said, it was a fair price for what I received and way too many great things about this hotel, that I would not hesitate to stay again. Roof top restaurant for breakfast was a huge perk to the stay. Beautiful views and very clean.

Was a really nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. The only problem was we were not pre warned about building works in the area. We were woken up early every day of our stay with very loud drilling and banging.

All the staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Those at the reception area patiently guide us on how to go to the places of interest. Those ladies at the restaurant were cheerful and the breakfast spread were delicious. The rooms were slightly small but clean. Most importantly the location of this hotel is very convenient as it is within walking distance to places of interests and public transport.

Very nice staffs, very clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Shopping is always a pleasure because the short distance to the hotel.

The Nowy Efendi Hotel's absolutely best selling point is its incredible location -- it is literally 10 min walk away from two of the Istanbul's main tourist sightseeing destinations: Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. In fact, Hagia Sofia is so close that one can enjoy the view of this incredibly historical Church from the breakfast room!

The rooms are pretty good, especially given the prices they charge (we paid less than $100/night for a room with 3 beds -- a pretty good deal IMHO!).

The only thing that hotel could consider improving (though not a significant drawback) is the quality of its breakfast. It was OK, but not great. Other than that -- this hotel offers a very good value for money -- I highly recommend it!!!

Really warm welcome. Rooms may be a little on small side but are very clean. Beds very comfortable. Tea and coffee refreshed daily, complmentary water and toiletries abd daily clean towels. Breakfast on the terrace is fantastic, huge amount of choice. Down a tiny side street in great location.

They gave top service from accomodation to helping us with sim .Best staff. Rooms were neat and clean bedding was very comfortable .Me and my family felt very comfortable. Perfect location all eateries, sultan Ahmet square, metro station all were in walking distance.

Our room got upgraded to a connecting double rooms and the staff was great! Loved the stay

Would have preferred a higher floor than a room in the basement of the hotel. But the staff made the stay exceptional!

I stayed here for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop was really good as well. The location is quite good - all kinds of great restaurants and bars nearby. Plus major locations are less than 10 minutes walking. Safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rooms are very compact but the service, facilities, and location is great and makes it a worthwhile stay! It’s a 5 minute walk from all the main attractions and the area is busy and safe. The Hotel also has a lovely terrace cafe with good views of the city.
