Lucky Mother Bungalow 2 Chaweng Beach

Friendly staff, near the beach, with lots of bird sounds

Right in the middle of all the action if you are looking for a quiet place this is not the place to book

I think other low reviews may be due to no air con in room which made it smell stuffy.
For me I would recommend for a short stay as the location was perfect ! Walk to anywhere you need. Friendly staff . Private room.

We really liked our stay at Lucky Mother! All of the staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean if a little small. It had a good fan (we didn't pay extra for air conditioning) and the bathroom was good too. The bungalows are down a little side street which takes you away from some of the hubbub, though it was still quite noisy at times - but I wouldn't have expected anything else just off Chaweng beach at new years!

The location and the price was very nice.
Therefore, even though there were some negative things, I would like to stay there again with that reasonable price.

I stayed with 1 female friend for 1 week at Lacky Mother Bungalow, we stayed on the 2nd floor, air conditioned room, big and long room with 2 beds for 2 people, good cool air conditioner, cleaned every day, provided 2 bottles of water every day and changed towels. Give every day. Located near the beach, traveling to swim at the beach is very convenient. What I don't like about this bungalow is The dream didn't fall, but there was water in front of the bungalow. It was not very comfortable to walk because of the water. Hopefully the bungalow owner will improve it. And the dogs barked very loudly very early in the morning. The owner of the bungalow said it was cute.If returning to Koh Samui, definitely stay here again.

Great area. The shower wasn't designed right so it wouldn't drain. Filled the entire bathroom floor with standing water. Other than that and some check in issues (no one the office for a while) it was good.

I didn’t love staying here, but that’s because the location of Chaweng was too intense for me. Some will love it! My room was simple and clean - very far from fancy, but I don’t need fancy. Bars, convenience stores and beach all at your fingertips.

Great seaside location...and all the good night spots are near too, at easy walking distance...simple room but clean, and the bed is comfortable...cheap room rate considering the location... attached bathroom, hot water shower...fan room a bit hot this time of year, you might wanna consider getting an air-conditioned room (add 200 baht)

The accomodation of this family business ranges from simole bungalows to nicely appointed rooms with terrace. Housekeeping is daily, water and toiletries provided. All worth the money especially when you walk 50m and are on Chaweng beach. On other side you enter the main road full of entertainment so all in walking distance. Simple and friendly bar from 2pm to last customer...well worth a visit.

Beautiful bungalow accommodation right on Chewung Beach. Central location with a great onsite beachfront bar.

This little gem of a resort is well located in the center of Chaweng. The room was clean and had an outdoor area to smoke or have a drink. The best part was direct access (and view) to the beach. Another cool feature was free to use table and chairs right by the beach. It may sometimes be noisy from the bars next door.
Overal a great small resort for the rates!
Will return when I go back to Samui

It would be impossible to find better value than Lucky Mother in Chaweng. The location is perfect, the rooms are simple but nice and clean, the staff are amazing. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Samui. If I could review it more than 5/5, I would :)
