The price
This hotel should be advertised as a "basic level discount" hotel. The photos shown on Hotels.com are misleading -- they are very out-of-date and the amenities are exaggerated.
We experienced a power outage, a water outage, and 3 days of ant infestation during our stay.
I was very surprised that this hotel is listed as a Boutique Hotel. There was nothing “Boutique” about it. The staff was mostly not friendly from the moment I arrived. Although I was told in advance I can store my luggage, they don’t have a luggage hold. There were stains on the the blankets (although the sheets & cover were clean) that shone through the covers. When the fuse for the Aircon blew, the receptionist implied I was to stupid to work the AC (still after 4 days), before finding the issue…no apology.
Complaining to Expedia did nothing. Only to get confronted by the receptionist as to why I’d call my travel agency as for him, replacing a stained blanket with another stained blanket “solved the matter” and telling Expedia that they don’t even have a storage hold. The cleaning staff consistently complained during the change of linen, insisting he doesn’t see any stains.
I felt very uncomfortable throughout the stay, sleeping in that bed, trying to avoid the staff etc. I am very disappointed in that stay and especially in Expedia as I am used to better standards and customer satisfying problem solving. There was, however, no resolution whatsoever.
The rooms are also not sound proof.
The breakfast was good as it was at a cafe on the next corner, as opposed to the hotel itself.
Location of the “hotel” was good.
Petite clean room, good breakfast voucher given, no parking provided as street is under construction. Close to beach, shopping and dining options.
Only good thing about the hotel is the position as it’s so close to the beach and central to everything. The room was not in good condition especially the bath/shower. No mattress protector so managed to get a 2nd sheet for the bed, some stains on the sheets and pillowcases, wallpaper coming off wall . Back garden in a state and needs a good clean and not advisable to go in there unless you want to be bitten to pieces by insects. Website says tea/coffee facilities in room , there are none, only in the reception area. Had to ask for shower gel as none in the room and only 2 towels, no hand towel or bath mat. Would I stay again, no thanks, place needs refurbishing big time.
Very nice gentleman helped us check in. However the property is hard to find, though VERY communicative with email before arrival! Probably because it’s Hard to find due to road construction, however past that, it’s a cute little step-up from a hostel style hotel. Good for a night of two before or after a flight. Near enough to the beach. Very tiny rooms though.
I requested a refund! I am sending pictures. One of the guests has allergies and the place was dirty and full of mold they left two minutes after they checked in
Bath was disgusting, look like it hadn’t been cleaned. Hotel is in need of complete refurb, looking very tired. Good location in the centre of Tel Aviv but that’s about it. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Very nice hotel in a central location, walking distance to the beach, cafes, embassies, e.t.c.
Hotel employees are professional and polite.
Hotel manager is professional, polite and so helpful.
Great. Everyone was nice. Central location.
Cute hotel in central location.
Nice and quiet hotel
The location is perfect, and the staff super friendly
Unfortunately the hotel is in desperate need of renovation
Aside from this point of needing renovating, this place is fantastic
one of best hotel in town love the place , i had lots memory there
A nice small hotel close to the sea and to the city center. Good place for a short holiday in Tel Aviv
Very good solution for a 0lace to stay in Tlv in a great location near the beach. Value for money.
Great location. The room is extremely small and there is no separate shower stall in the bathroom it's an open shower with the sink right on top of the shower..
The gentleman running the place seems knowledgeable about the area and things tourists look for. The individual room was small, a large enough bed put in there could take up the entire square footage of the room. Though the bed itself was comfortable, with multiple soft pillows. Be prepared for the cramped bathroom space. The toilet, the sink, and the shower were right next to one after the other. The shower head was not angled enough to allow movement for the person showering. Elbows and knees are constantly bumping into something.
Air conditioning good. Small room. No elevator. Service fair. Old hotel
This hotel was cheap in every aspect of our stay.
It’s a small boutique hotel ran by the owner who has no idea what service Industry is like. The check is process was unpleasant and complicated. He wanted to break my three day stay between two rooms. After I refused to move he found a way to not make me move.
They have a coffee machine in the lobby which you are not allowed to use, however there are no signs so you’ll be yelled for making yourself a cup of coffee after a long trip.
The hotel was very basic and rundown. The room was tiny and without a window that can be opened. It’s semi clean and had a lot of signs of wear and tear. The bathroom looked like it was done by someone watching DIY videos.
DO NOT buy breakfast!!!! It’s a total rip off. They serve it at a different property and it’s basically toast of bread, jam and butter and yogurts full of sugar. Cheap coffee with milk just adds up to the whole picture. We only went there once.
The garden is basically a designated for smoking area with plastic plants hanging around it.
On the bright side it’s close to the beach and relatively inexpensive.
