Cons:

The fire alarm went off at 4am because of the renovations next door - we couldn’t get into our room for 20 mins because the door was locked from the inside and keys wouldn’t work

Lovely accommodation & destination
Pros:

Great location, staff were fantastic 11 out of 10, Lovely outlook and rooms. Have stayed before with the included breakfast & it was great, missed it this time. Lovely eateries and things to do nearby. Onsite pool and bar very nice too. Netted beach also nice for the ocean goers, though shallow. There is a lift to take you up to the main part of town for those no inclined to walk the roughly 3 levels of path & steps.

Cons:

Small thing, road signage a little unclear so we missed it on the first pass.

Convenience of location to the Waterfront.

Cons:

There was an issue with my booking of 2 adults and 4 children. The website approved the process for sleeping six (and the hotel accepted), but when we arrived, the rooms could only sleep. 4). The beds are standard sized, so on the smaller side. The Hotel staff were initially unapologetic, saying that I should have called them beforehand. They had no spare beds. Rather I had to pay and upgrade both rooms to ensure the 2 adults were not sleeping on the floor. I could only upgrade the one night due to unavailability - had to go back to the original rooms for the next night. That was a hassle. A trundle bed became available for one of the adults. So I only had to sleep on the floor that night. Not what I was expecting when I made the booking to say the least.

Our number one choice
Pros:

Always a great stay. Staff always accommodating, great amenities and perfect location.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay on rainy Australia Day with good rates for locals
Pros:

King size bed very comfortable. Premises very clean. Nice view over Darwin Precinct. Nice breakfast on first floor in a nice cosy "cafe" with lovely and helpful staff.

Cons:

Main lights in bedroom are very bright and cannot be switched off when using light in bathroom.
Light mould smell in the room.
Flat batteries in TV remote. (Went down to reception to replace, no drama)
Were supposed to get an upgrade with bigger bathroom but did not happen...

Mostly good but hampered by the lifts not working and additional difficulties that included.
Pros:

My room was comfortable, I liked being able to open the window for some fresh air.
the room service and meal quality was very good.
The meeting room and lunch area was good and comfortable.

Cons:

I would have liked to be able to sit down ion the meal area. I have physical issues and bar stools are difficult for me to use.

The lifts being out of order and having to walk long distances between my room and getting to and from the car park was very difficult, especially with a heavy suitcase. Due to my physical issues this was very painful and prevented me from moving around the hotel very much.

On arrival the reception staff member was difficult to understand when she gave directions. She seemed tired and sick of giving directions regarding where we could access a lift that worked. Checking out the staff member was friendly and helpful.

Second time staying at the Vibe - and plan to stay again next time in Darwin.
Pros:

Cafe being renovated (small temp one active) - otherwise would have given a 5/5 across the board.
