Please be aware our Fellside rooms can not accommodate. If you have booked a Fellside room and bring your dog the hotel will refuse entry.

Incredible place that’s exceptionally cosy and luxurious with much to be desired in terms of service.
Pros:

Incredible location and the room was so warm and cosy! The views are absolutely spectacular.

Cons:

The food wasn’t very good, especially the breakfasts. The service in general was bad. We made multiple requests that were all ignored as they don’t do handovers. Having said this, everyone was very pleasant and eager to help, there’s just a lack of coordination and proper management.

An amazing experience!!
Pros:

We had an amazing luxury room with balcony, which we did not expect. The hotel is amazing as they take care of the smallest details. In house dining was really good example of fine dining. The grounds around the hotel were perfect for an evening or morning stroll. We went on a cruise around the Lake Windermere in 1920’s wooden boat, such class!! Really recommend this hotel. The staff made us feel really at home

An exquisite experience.
Pros:

The very beautiful interiors with lots of spaces to sit in comfort. Beautiful gardens and having a garden tour is very interesting.
I stayed in the Lakehouse … just a gorgeous room with everything thought of.
Food was excellent and is very fine dining.
Staff were so good. Special thank you to Linda who made great suggestions.
