The receptionist was bald and laughed at me during check-in. I couldn’t tell whether he was trying to rip me off or was judging me because he thought I was gay. It made me feel very uneasy and unsafe.
After reading other guests’ reviews mentioning being overcharged, I felt even more anxious. I couldn’t sleep properly for two nights because of this experience. The whole situation was extremely uncomfortable and unsettling.

Very clean,nice staff good hotel
Duvet was a little small for a single bed but I'm quite big lol so all fair really lol
Muy bien ubicado, cerca del botánico. La atención del personal muy buena. Cómodo y buena ducha.
Close to Byres Road which is what I needed.
My room was dirty, mould in the bathroom, the shower dirty, dust on the ceiling, marks on my sheets. The room was cold, the little radiator didn’t heat it up enough. Generally the public area - hall way etc were dirty and worn down.
I asked to change room but was told they’re fully booked and advised a cleaner had been in my room- if they had I’m not sure what they had done. I didn’t get an apology or any kind of resolution. I understand a full hotel but feel more could have been offered to make up for it.
Very comfortable accommodation and staff very helpful and welcoming
Being on the ground floor
Great location. Easy to find. Pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely and warm with final touches, making the room feel homely and cosy. The shower temperature is very good, and water pressure is acceptable
The dining area was very well presented, though I never made it down for breakfast!
There was nothing to dislike, but a smaller kettle in the single room would make filling it (from the bathroom) much easier.
Good price small hotel in the West End.
Location perfect, easy che k in room warm and clean.
