Spacious, central location but could use some updating of furniture to increase comfort
Pros:

Location! Very central to all you want to explore. Space was clean and large.

Cons:

Furniture is older and not comfortable. Beds were very hard. We did not get a balcony despite thinking we booked one. We were told you need to request one. We were on the front of the building which is right across from a busy Casino on a very busy road. It was very noisy…at all times.

No frills, but well located and friendly staff
Pros:

Great location, near to some lovely gardens and walking distance into the old town.

The staff are very helpful with local information and making phone calls ahead.

Housekeeping was very good.

Cons:

The apartments themselves are pretty dingy. Old furnishings, grout on wall tiles, etc.

No frills. No tea bags or coffee, or a welcome note or anything. Only on my third day did I discover there was some packets of shampoo under the sink.

Einfaches Hotel in zentraler Lage für kurze Aufenthalte.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut, etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Innenstadt. Parken in der sehr engen Tiefgarage ist möglich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch und altmodisch eingerichtet. Im Bad gab es deutlich Schimmel. Auch an den Fenstern war Schimmel sichtbar. Das 3. Bett (Schlafsofa) im Wohnzimmer war sehr unbequem.

We had great stay!
Pros:

Apartment was spacious, kitchen fully equipped, A/C, bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect-close to the city center. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near bay. There's free underground car park in case you need it.

Cons:

Didn't know there's a reception to check in which is handy.

Pros:

A acolhida do Sr. Miguel foi incrível, esteve sempre prestativo. O espaço é super agradável e a localização foi espetacular para equacionar trabalho e lazer.

Cons:

Os utensílios de cozinha mais ordenados dariam um plus na estadia. Eu daria como exemplo ter toalha para refeição à mesa, Poderia ter jarro, garrafa térmica, copos, xicaras, pratos e talheres iguais para a quantidade de pessoas que o ambiente comporta, Eu adoraria ter tomado um vinho lá, vendo aquele belo parque.

Would definitely return to this apartment, great facilities, great location, great staff.
Pros:

Location excellent. Very near the centre of Funchal. Excellent transport links to all parts of Funchal and Maderia.
The manager Miguel at the apartment was very helpful and accommodating, for example by meeting our requests for a balcony and twin beds and late arrival. The staff were very approachable and keen to please, always professional with a friendly informal feel. Facilities all provided for and it met all our self catering and comfort needs. Nice decor, good shower, good standard of daily room service. All information was clearly displayed.

Cons:

We were very happy with our stay.

Foi boa, teria sido excelente não fora o ruído do trânsito, que é próprio da Av. do Infante.
Pros:

A centralidade. Perto do centro da cidade; perto de restaurantes, supermercados, confeitaria com pão fresco diarimente, perto das "praias"; perto das principais vias de acesso a toda a ilha.

Cons:

A recolha de resíduos não é feita com separação. De início deixámos os resíduos separados por categorias, mas verificámos que na recolha era tudo junto no mesmo saco/contentor. Suponho que a Madeira e em particular o Funchal, sejam particularmente sensíveis ao problema dos resíduos e que esse aspecto seja bastante importante. É fácil e deve ser melhorado.

Emplacement parfait pour ceux qui aiment découvrir en marchant...
Pros:

Emplacement parfait, tout près du centre-ville, on peut visiter tout Funchal à pied.
Il ya un très joli parc juste en face, des petits cafés et restaurants à proximité.
L'appartement est spacieux et lumineux, avec cuisine et grande salle de bain + baignoire, et le personnel est aux petits soins.
