Location was good. It has the potential to be excellent.
Staff do their best but could do with a bit of training to make this a much better hotel .
The view over the harbour, the food (they certainly don't skimp on portion size). Also, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All in all an excellent stay. Well done The Royal.

It was close to the ferry terminal was the best part.
The food was just ok, the bed just ok ( heavy bed cover unnecessary) tv was difficult to manage, no air conditioning

It would be better if breakfast ran until 11am. It is nice to get a lie in at the weekend. Also cleaning team could be a little quieter before 10am in morning for those enjoying a lie in.

Transfer to golf course was good.
The rooms are spacious, very comfy with good glazing. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds and pillows. Bath robes a lovely bonus.

We worried about noise (first floor next to the lift) but there wasn’t any.
I am really struggling to think of anything - possibly a hotel car park but the on street parking was plentiful and free.

Voor het eerst neen hotel met lift, dit was zeer comfortabel. De kamer was zeker Royal, groot met zithoek voor het raam. De badkamer was ook zeer groot. Het beste verblijkf van de hele vakantie
