I visit Zermat every year and have done for 35 years, lots of great hotels but not many that offer such great value

My ski buddy and I will be booking 2027 at The Bristol for the annual ski week - see you then !
Pros:

Location location location - lovely team - very clean room and spa area - overall a great place to stay !!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Just a silly thing - I wished there was some smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet !!! That is my big complaint, which isn't a complaint more of an observation actually .... there was a lovely selection of cured meats and cheeses, which is all I really need in the morning - and they have 2 coffee stations which is appreciated as a great cup of coffee is all I need in the am !!!

Pros:

The location was amazing, the hotel is really cozy and the owners and staff are really friendly and approachable. They were always there which made it feel like a well run family business and not a cold hotel like some others. The breakfast was also rich and yummy. Loved the place, would definitely go there again if i am visiting Zermatt :)

Cons:

the pillows were a bit too flat for us practically it's like you are not even sleeping on a pillow. The beds were comfortable though i would only change the pillows.

First time in Zermatt and enjoyed the comfortable stay at the Bristol - would do it again.
Pros:

Room had a view of the Mattahorn which was breathtaking. The Breakfast was also great with a lot of variety and delicious things to choose from. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything that was we needed.

Very nice, friendly place
Pros:

Great Breakfast and location, all new and stylish. Very nice, they offered a pickup at the station and a welcome drink.
Also good to change to ski clothes if room is not ready yet and also if you have checked out already (Luggage store, shower etc provided)

Cons:

The spa was nicely done, but the finnish sauna was too hot (a typical mistake in Switzerland), so you could not throw water and therefore it was too dry. Speaking from lots of personal experience in Finland it should be a bit cooler and therefore more enjoyable.
